Having a crush on Sam and always being awkward around him.

I closed the car door behind me as I approached the library, I love reading books but when it's for a case there are a thousand things I would rather do. I sulked over to the desk and asked for the newspapers I needed. She brought them to a table and she thanked me as I sat down sulkingly ready to start my research. I sighed with each page that I turned. This is going to be a long day.

DEAN'S POV:

I held the door open for Sammy as I stepped inside the library. We approached the desk where an older woman smiled at us.

"We're looking for some old newspapers of the town," I started, about to explain more but she stopped me.

"I'm sorry someone already has them, maybe you can ask them to share?" She suggested. I looked to Sam a little confused. Who would be looking at the old papers?

"Where are they?" Sam asked. The woman pointed us in the right direction, I led the way.

Y/N'S POV:

I looked up from the papers for a second to adjust my eyes, I squeeled when I spotted Dean approaching. I jumped from my seat and ran at him. As soon as we were close enough he wrapped his arms around me and lifted me from the ground, spinning me on the spot. Dean and I are best friends! I've never really had a best friend but Dean work so well together even when hunting together. He chuckled into the crease in my neck and as we pulled away I noticed his enormous smile trying to split the sides of his lips.

"I should have known it was you," He chuckled making me smile brightly with a slight chuckle.

"I would have brought some--" I stopped mid-sentence as I spotted an extremely attractive man standing a few steps behind Dean with a polite smile. "Wow," I exclaimed accidentally making myself chuckle. "You must be Sammy," I asked and as soon as his eyes met mine I melted.

"Yeah, sorry I don't know who you are," He explained but I smiled like an idiot.

"I'm Y/n, I used to hunt with your dean and dad while you were in Stanford," I explained but stumbled on my words slightly. "Well, John." I corrected making him smile.

"What's up with you?" Dean asked with a slight chuckle. I cleared my throat.

"I'm always awkward when I meet someone attractive so I'm sorry if I suddenly forget how to speak," I added to Sammy but Dean looked at me confused.

"You were never awkward around me," He commented making Sam laugh, I chuckled.

"Yeah, you actually improved my speech," I joked making Sam laugh but Dean looked offended.

"I'm an attractive guy," He justified making me laugh.

"You're just not my type," I shrugged so Dean nodded slightly. Before realising something.

"But Sam is?" He asked with an offended tone. I couldn't help but chuckle.

"It's nothing personal, he just got the best genetics," I shrugged but Dean didn't seem too excited about my answer. I walked back to my table and took a seat, the brothers sat either side of me. I shared the newspapers and we were silent as we read them gathering information.

"So, you really think he's more attractive than me?" Dean questioned abruptly. Sam and I laughed as he must have been thinking about it for the past 10 minutes. "It's because he's tall isn't it?" He asked making me sigh.

"You're taller than me too so no," I sighed but Dean went on. There were a few laughs and awkward moments but by the end of the night I was making out with Sam in my motel room so the day was a success.
