I started jogging to clear my mind. I wouldn't normally jog at this time of night but I had to get out of the house. I was feeling stressed over nothing really, I just hated that I was always staring at the same walls. My music was playing through my headphones till my phone died. I sighed knowing I was stupid not to charge it. I groaned and stopped jogging. I put my headphones in my pocket and took a minute to breath. I wiped my head and groaned. This was a bad idea, I didn't even bring water. I was about to keep going when I heard a noise behind me. A mix between a growl and heavy breathing. I turned around to see no one. I hope we don't have vicious animals in this park, I haven't heard anything about it.

My heart continued to beat fast and hard, not just from the running but now because of the possibility of danger. I started walked backwards, keeping my eyes on the area of the bushes where the noise came from. I suddenly walked into someone and let out a small scream from the fright. I quickly turned around to see a random woman looking at me deeply.

"I'm really sorry, I thought I heard something," I explained with a chuckle but my smile soon left when she didn't react. She just looked at me like I was a meal. Sometimes people are scarier than animals. I cleared my throat. "I should be going," I added starting to take small steps away from her. For each small step I took she stepped towards me. Her eyes were weird, like she was wearing contacts or was on drugs. Her lips suddenly formed into a sinister smile.

"I like my meal sweaty," She commented making my breathing increase. "More flavour," She added before jumping at me. I jumped to the floor to my side trying to get away from her. Her hand stretched out and I felt her nails penetrate my arm with a slash. I was too scared to make a sound. She grouched beside me with a chuckle.

Fight or flight.

I kicked her in the face and scrambled to my feet. She soon was chasing me. She was fast, too fast for me to out run. I turned to the trees and ducked under a branch at the last second. Thankfully she didn't see it and it knocked her backwards. I smiled as I continued running till I found a road. No cars, perfect! I thought sarcastically. I can never seem to be alone until I need someone here.

She emerged from the trees and smiled widely. I got into a fighting stance, trying to calm my breath as I started to panic. If she's on drugs I doubt she'd feel anything until they wore off, this is going to be like fighting a robot. She laughed.

"Aw, she thinks she can beat me," She chuckled with her lips in a smile. Now that we were in good lighting I could see her. She had Razer sharp teeth like she was a dog. Everything about her seems un human. I finally looked to her hands and saw claws like she had sharpened her nails into them. I am not safe. She chuckled and before I could think she had me on the floor and was crouched over me. My head stinging from hitting the concrete. She moved down and sniffed me before moving her face to my neck, I could feel her breath on my neck like she was going to bite me. I squirmed under her, trying to break free but she was too strong. I don't have a chance. She suddenly winced, a scream leaving her lips as she threw herself off of me. I had no idea what happened but quickly got to my feet. She looked pissed. I'm definitely going to die here.

"Hey!" A deep voice suddenly exclaimed making us both look over. I looked to see a tall guy a gun in hand. A smaller man beside him also bearing a gun. Thank god! She quickly tried to run at them but in a second they shot her in the chest and a light seemed to shine from the woundws. I breathed a sigh of relief. I'm alive? I'm alive!!!
