Sam's Argument

Sam telling Dean about yours and his relationship problems and Dean says your not good for Sam

Sam walked into the motel with a sigh. Dean took his eyes off of the TV for a second to look to look at me.
"You look tired, Y/n keep you up all night?" Dean asked as he wiggled his eyebrows, not so subtubly suggested that they had plenty of sex since the boys had been on a hunt for the past 2 weeks.
"We were arguing," Sam sighed as he took a seat beside Dean on the couch ready to watch the terrible show and not have to talk about his night. Dean had other plans. He leant forward and turned the TV off, Sam just sighed.
"Why were you aruing?" Dean asked. Dean normally wasn't the type to care for Sam's personal life but Dean had a soft spot for Y/n. Dean and Y/n were platonic soulmates. Sam's dated her because she was normal, she wasn't in the hunting world, she didn't even believe in ghosts. When Y/n and Dean met they instantly became best friends, the kind of best friend you don't talk to much but you know they will always be there if you just want to hang out, Dean and Y/n probably had more in common than Sam and Y/n. Dean never thought of her in a sexual way which surprised even him.

"I don't want to talk about it," Sam sighed but Dean just looked at him till he broke. "Y/n's been talking to her ex," Sam's sighed but Dean looked at him confused. Dean knew about her ex, they ended on good terms and he didn't see why it was a problem that they had talked, well, unless they slept together while she was with Sam. Sam noticed Dean confused expression and groaned. "She shouldn't be talking to someone who's seen her naked." Sam tried to justify but Dean wasn't convinced, instead he tried to understand Sam a little better.
"We're they talking dirty?" Dean asked but Sam rolled his eyes.
"No, they met up," Sam added making Dean's eyebrows raise. He never thought of Y/n as the cheating type. "They went to the beach together with that other girl," He added so Dean sighed, instantly catching Sam's attention. "What?" Sam asked definsively.
"You made it sound like they slept together," Dean shrugged but Sam scoffed.
"They could have, I wasn't there," Sam argued but Dean scoffed.
"So you don't trust Y/n?" Dean asked so Sam thought for a second.
"I don't trust him, I've never met him," Sam retaliated but Dean's arger started to rise slightly.
"Y/n might not be a hunter but if there is one thing I know about that girl, she can handle herself. Remember when you came back with a black eye because you creeped up behind her? She did that without thinking, I would hate to see what she could do if she had time to think about what she was going to do. You don't trust her with him because you think she'd cheat but she trusts you completely," Dean argued, Sam scoffed ready to interupt him but Dean went on. "You go away on hunters, sometimes for a month and you don't tell her anything about it, she trusts you enough to let you go without asking questions or bugging you to tell her the truth. You're willing to throw that away because she saw her ex, while they were with someone else. Sam, you're an idiot. You have a home to go to after every hunt, you have a woman that loves you unconditonally, that is something every hunter hopes for but you're willing to give it up for something stupid." He paused for a second to catch his breath. "She's not good for you Sam, she's great for you. You're so stupid if you give her up," Dean finished before sitting back and waited for his speech to sink in. It only took Sam 10 seconds to rise from his sat and run for the door.

Dean smiled knowing he had saved their relationship. It wasn't just to make Sam happy but because he wanted to stay friends with Y/n without it being weird.
