Sam coming to check on you but your dad Bobby won't let Sam near you.

(1584 WORDS)

"Bye dad," I called as I slammed the door shut, I don't have to explain where I'm going if he doesn't get a chance to stop me before I go. The truth is, I'm going on a hunt with Sam. We're not really dating but as soon as one of us says the words then nothing will change. We've explained that we have feelings for each other and we kiss we just haven't had the time to express it more. We'd talked about being worried that hunting could hurt us but I'm just waiting. Waiting to be able to say that Sam is mine.

I turned towards my car and sighed. My wheels were locked into place with clamps. I sighed and pushed my head back. Groaning loudly knowing my dad would hear. I turned back into the house and slammed the door behind me with an annoyed expression. I walked into the doorway where my dad sat at his desk, a deep smile on his face.

"This is a new low," I commented, showing my annoyance.

"Something wrong?" He asked sarcastically.

"Why are you locking me in the house? You said I could hunt," I explained knowing I sounded like a sulking kid but he's treating me like one. I'm 24 and he's still treating me like a child.

"I said you could hunt if you're smart about it. I saw your papers and you seem to have done no research." He explained not looking up from his book.

"I'm doing research there, it's easier to study the town if I'm in it," I sighed and he finally looked at me with a raised eyebrow. I just groaned.

"You have all you need here," He explained making me sigh.

"Well I'm working with someone so we're researching together," I added but he didn't seem to care.

"You can do the research here and let them know, who are you hunting with?" He asked, putting his book on the table and looking at me with a plain expression.

"You can control whatever you want but you can't control me," I expressed but he chuckles. I was about to storm off, turning to leave.

"The phone will be down here when you're ready to call them with information," He added making me groan. As much as I love my dad he always knows how to annoy me. I stormed to my room blocking the door with my draws since I'm not allowed a lock.

I stayed in my room the rest of the day, blaring music so even if he knocked I could ignore him. I'm just sitting here hopelessly hoping Sam wouldn't hate me for not showing up. I sighed reading a book on research. As long as I know what I'm fighting and how to kill it then I can go.

BOBBY'S POV:

I continued working until I heard a car pull up. The Winchesters? I thought as I recognised the sound of the engine. I was happy to see them until a thought crossed my mind. My daughter is not hunting with the Winchesters as long as I have a say so! I walked to the door carrying my shotgun with me. I opened the door, seeing only Sam approaching the house. He was about to talk but I spoke first.

"Turn around before I shoot your legs off," I threatened and he instantly stopped in his place. He looked scared but confused.
