Sam working on your car and his partner telling him to flirt with you since Sam is clearly into you (Alternate universe)

(1421 Words)

I pulled up to Singer mechanics. I took my keys out of the car's ignition and made sure I had everything I needed before stepping out of the car. I pushed the door shut as I looked around at the other cars. I wrinkled my nose slightly noticing a car was missing and considered leaving.

"Hey," A voice called and I looked to see a cute guy approaching me. I smiled politely as he wiped the oil from his hands with an old rag. I chuckled slightly. That's how you know they're a good mechanic, the oily rag that hangs from their overalls. "Can I help you with anything?" He asked smiling wider the closer he got. I was momentarily mesmerised but how cute he was. I couldn't think of anyone cuter in my life.

"I just came to get my breaks bled, I've just got a new car and I don't want to risk anything," I explained so he nodded with a smile. I smiled back admiring him before he turned to look at my car. It's nothing special but it's mine. My step-dad would probably kill me for getting a car through a dealership but they're more reliable and cost-effective.

"It won't take long, there's a cafe not far if you want to wait there?" He asked so I chuckled slightly. I used to practically live at that cafe, I'm happy to see nothing really changed around here.  "They make good coffee," He added making me laugh.

"Yeah, I've had it. I'll just wait here if that's okay?" I asked gesturing to the waiting room which no doubt about it will be the same as it was 10 years ago when I first saw it. He smiled as he nodded.

"Yeah, I'll come and get you when I'm done," He explained with a mesmerising smile. God, he's adorable! I smiled as I nodded and headed to the waiting room.

SAM'S POV:

I watched after her as she walked away, she's too beautiful not to admire.

"You going to ask her out?" Dave asked quickly purposely giving me a fright. He's so annoying sometimes.

"Mind your business," I rolled my eyes at him as I headed to the cute girl's car. I internally groaned as I heard Dave following me. "Bobby will kill you if he finds out you're late again," I commented, hoping he would take the hint to leave me alone. He chuckled, however.

"That fat prick won't find out. I'll just wipe the camera and say I was cleaning them." He shrugged as I popped the bonnet of the car and started working hoping once again he would leave me alone. "And anyway, you're not going to tell him," He stated with a chuckle but it was clear he was trying to threaten me. He thinks he's so strong and intimidating but I know after one punch to the face he'd run home crying. I rolled my eyes, face buried in the car's organs. Dave hovered over my shoulder. "What did the hotty come in for?" He asked and I wanted to hit him for degrading her but I refrained by biting my tongue.

"She just wants me to bleed her breaks," I shrugged but he scoffed.

"She probably doesn't know a thing about cars. You should sell her a new engine." He commented laughing as though he was the funniest person in the world. I looked at him in disbelief. Is he seriously overcharging people for things they don't need?

"She just got the car," I argued but he laughed.

"She looks dumb enough to believe it," He shrugged finally walking away. I scoffed in disbelief and got back to work. It wasn't a long job and so was done pretty quickly. I wiped my hands as I looked to the door behind which the beautiful girl sat. I winced when I saw Dave smirking at me and heading into the room. I wanted to run to make sure he wasn't trying any funny business but I decided to walk at a slightly hurried pace.

YOUR POV:

I looked up from my book as the door opening caught my attention. I was surprised to see it wasn't the cute guy I originally talked to but smiled to be polite. He smirked slightly before sighing. Looking unconvincingly regretful.

"I hate to be the bearer of bad news," He started but I looked at him expectantly. I waited with a smirk as I sucked my teeth with my tongue and nodded. I should have known this would happen. Every mechanic shop has at least one tool that thinks that just because I'm a girl I don't know anything about cars. I cleared my throat and placed my book back in my bag, I swung it onto my shoulder and stood. I looked at him expectantly. The door opened and the cute guy walked in with a panicked smile. The guy looked over his shoulder to see him and rolled his eyes. "I was just about to explain to this beautiful woman that she needs more than break bleeding," He started making me scoff. I chuckled slightly as I shook my head. He thinks I'm an idiot. Little does he know.

"No, you know. I had a double-check and I think she'll be alright," The cute boy looked at him with eyes that said to go along with him making me smile. He's trying to stop him. Good to know.

"Sam, you don't want her car to break down, do you?" He asked sarcastically making me smile. So the cute guy is called Sam, noted.

"Dave," Sam commented warningly but Dave smiled turning his attention back to me. He opened his mouth to speak but the door opening caught all of our attention.

We all looked to see Bobby Singer the owner of the mechanic shop walks in. He instantly smiled at me. "Y/N," He exclaimed happily as he approached and hugged me. I chuckled, smirking as I watched Dave waiting for the pin to drop. He looked at us confused. "Sam, Dave. This is my step-daughter, Y/N," Bobby explained making me smile. I raised an eyebrow at Dave as he looked as though he had swallowed his tongue and was about to puke it up. I couldn't stop smirking. Bobby didn't seem to notice. "What's going on?" Bobby asked looking at us all confused.

"Well, I came to get my break bled because I got my new car and Sam's fixed it," I explained to Bobby smiled happily.

"Thank you, Sam. I'll sort her payment and give you a little extra for keeping her happy," He explained surprising Sam.

"Oh, you don't have to," He started but Bobby chuckled.

"No, I want to," Bobby shrugged so I smirked. The look on Dave's face showed his terror as he noticed me open my mouth.

"Well, Dave helped too," I started so they all looked at me. I smiled fakely. "Yeah, he was just about to explain that I need a new engine. I mean he didn't look at the car and was late to his shift but don't worry he was going to wipe the camera's so you wouldn't know," I explained with a smirk as Bobby looked at him offended. If there is anything Bobby hates more than thefts, it's people who try to make a fool out of him.

"I think you should come to my office," Bobby's tone was assertive and clearly showed he was serious. I chuckled as Dave went pale and nodded, heading straight to Bobby's office. "I'll see you at home," He added to me as he kissed my forehead and followed Dave to his office.

I looked at Sam as we were left alone. He smiled. "I can take you to your car," He explained so I smiled as I nodded. I followed him. "Your car seems perfectly fine, I would just suggest taking it out to dinner, I could be of assistance," he asked and instantly cringed rubbing the back of his neck with his hand. I chuckle, very smooth.

"I'd love that," I shrugged and he looked at me amazed. I chuckled as he looked at me utterly surprised. We exchanged numbers and planned to go out to dinner tomorrow. I can't imagine Bobby being too pleased but he's cute and from our continuous texting I know he's funny and kind.
