Hunting with Sam and Dean.

(2203 WORDS)

I sat up in bed with a great yawn. My back cracking as I stretched. Hunting is making me old, I swear. I got out of bed with a sigh, grabbing my already packed duffle bag. I walked out the door and headed to the reception. I handed my key in and wandered back to my car deep in thought.

Hunting is getting too easy now, it's gotten boring. Case's that use to get my blood pumping and was exhilarating are now just a normal day on the job. I've been hunting for 12 years now since I started at a weird age.

I started up the car and sighed as I made my way to the next town. I only just killed a monster last night, no rest for the wicked. I looked down at my phone as it started ringing. I put it on speaker as I answered.

"Hey, Y/n," I heard Bobby's voice calling through the phone. I smiled for the first time today.

"Hey, Bobby. How've you been?" I asked as I continued to focus on the road.

"I'm good just working with idiots as always," He joked making me laugh.

"I hope you don't mean me," I replied making him laugh.

"Never you," He added making me smile. I have a good relationship with Bobby, he's the only real hunter I trust. He's someone I can always laugh with. He likes to always bring up that he's been a hunter longer than I've been alive but I always have a snotty remark. "I'm actually calling to ask a favour," He stated seriously making me chuckle.

"Aw, here was me thinking you just missed me," I joked making him laugh.

"Well there's a vampires nest in Iowa and the nest is so big that it should have 4 people, I have two boys there in 10 minutes and you count has the last 2," He explained making me laugh.

"I was heading there myself, I think I can do it myself," I shrugged but Bobby chuckled.

"I know you could but the boys are already pretty much there," He explained making me sigh. "You're the only one I trust to help them," He added making me smile softly.

"Alright, what motel are they staying at?" I asked and I could tell Bobby was smiling.

"Motel 6, I'll give you their number so you can call and find their room," He explained making me smile. "Thank you, Y/n. I owe you one," He added making me chuckle.

"No problem, Bobby. Talk to you soon," I started making him chuckle.

"Speak soon," He said before hanging up. I don't normally hunt with hunters, I'd rather do it alone. I have bad experiences with hunters. I'll trust anyone Bobby trusts. I turned on my music as I continued my drive now only being half an hour out of Iowa. Singing along I made sure not to think about the hunt, I've already done all the research I need to and there was no point in worrying about something that would be easy. Well, as long as whoever I'm hunting with aren't complete idiots.

As I was close to the motel I called the number Bobby gave me. "Yeah?" A deep voice spoke through the phone. I had no clue of his age from his voice.

"Hi, Bobby sent me your number for the hunt, what room are you in?" I asked politely.

"Oh, we're in room 6," He explained so I nodded.
