Sam asking you out on a date and you say yes which excites him but he tries to act cool about it

(611 Words)

I sipped my drink as I read over my research, I was working on a case that was extremely frustrating. I've been in a funk recently, I always thought I was strong. After losing my friend last year I've been mentally blocked about everything. Things that used to be a habit, everyday tasks, I forget them and it only makes me feel worse. I was always the hunter who had their shit sorted. No one was ever hunting me because I never left them alive to want revenge but now I fear something has noticed my mistakes and is coming for me. I need a new partner!

"Oh, hey." I looked to see Dean Winchester, I chuckled as I rolled my eyes. I stood to hug him and looked for Sam.

"No brother?" I asked slightly disappointed.

"He'll be a minute, the perfect opportunity to plan our date," He commented so I rolled my eyes again looking back at my research. Dean always flirts with me. Sometimes it's funny, other times it's annoying. It kind of depends on what mood I'm in.

"Dean, I don't know if you realise or if you don't care but I don't want a date with you, never have never will." I shrugged but he laughed acting offended.

"I was just checking, I thought maybe you had come back to being straight," He explained so I looked at him confused. "Well, you'd have to like women not to want to date me," He joked making me laugh. I wasn't expecting it to be funny but my full laugh shone through.

"I'm as straight as you are," I added knowing full well he's a little... you know. Dean knew what I meant and looked confused, either wondering how I knew or what made me think it. Either way, I couldn't help but laugh.

"Hey, I didn't know you were here," Sam commented as he approached us. I smiled widely as I looked at him, God! Sam is so attractive, I don't know more people want Dean when Sam is right there.

"Well, here I am," I smirked so he smiled at me placing a hand on my shoulder as he stood beside me.

"Should I get the first round?" Sam asked so I smiled, biting my lip a little. I don't know how I react so much around Sam, it's a massive crush! Sam called over the bartender and ordered the first round, Sam took a seat beside me at the table so the brothers were facing each other. We had a little laugh and I couldn't but giggle at Sam's joke. Dean gave me a funny look before looking at Sam. He's figured it out. He knows.

I smiled awkwardly hoping he wouldn't say anything but he sighed dramatically. I chuckled slightly before looking at him with raised eyebrows. "So, that's why you won't go out with me?" Dean asked making me laugh. Sam looked confused obviously missing something. It only made me laugh harder. "Just ask her out already," Dean exclaimed frustrated, I wanted to hide my face with embarrassment. I glanced at Sam seeing that he figured it out. He smiled at me.

"Where do you want to go?" Sam smirked making me smile.

"Anywhere you want," I winked and he seemed shocked, Dean groaned but I ignored him as I continued smiling at Sam. He pretended to be cool but his smile told me how excited he was. He cleared his throat. This could be the start of something amazing.
