Always flirting with Sam.

(931 WORDS)

I wrapped my apron around my waist before tieing it. I chuckled as I listened to my colleagues crazy story. She lead a crazy life. I walked into the seating area of the diner and clocked in on the system. I smiled to the tables seeing that it was going to be a quiet day. I walked into the kitchen and washed my hands before doing some work.

"Ugh, why do we never get attractive guys ion here?" Ross commented making me laugh. He was resting on the bar and looking over the guests, all straight, old men. I couldn't help but smile. Ross doesn't do much work but he's great at serving people. He always deals with complaints effectively, he messes up a lot but he's the type of guy that you can't be mad at for long. I continued to polish the cutlery. I sang under my breath to the same playlist we always play when we're open. I got a fright when Ross suddenly gripped my arm, the tightest grip imaginable. From his stature I wouldn't have thought he was strong enough but there he was cutting off the blood to my hand. I looked at him concerned and confused. He was staring at the door with wide eyes. I looked over to see two very attractive men walk in. I grabbed his arm tightly making him chuckle slightly. This is a small town, everyone here has known everyone else their whole lives, no one is attractive.

"Oh, my God," I whispered, I couldn't but stare at them. Ross and I suddenly looked away when they both looked to us. We panicked and turned to each other.

"You serve them," He explained quickly making me confused, I imagined Ross climbing over tables and people to get to them first. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"You're passing up the opportunity to talk to attractive men, are you sick?" I asked with a chuckle making him sigh.

"I'm sick of getting with guys who are so closeted that they get offended when I call them a 100-footer, not that most of them know what that means," He sighed making me chuckle slightly.

"You think they're gay?" I asked sneaking a look at them, they had picked a table and sat down, looking at the menu's. They don't look gay but who am I to judge?

"The short guy is, 1000%," Ross added making me laugh.

"I have no idea how you can tell," I added but he did a sarcastic laugh.

"I always know before they do," He added making me laugh.

"Well, maybe I'll climb the big guy then," I suggested but Ross laughed, like I told the funniest joke in the world. Everyone seemed to look at him. I looked to Ross confused as to why that was so funny. He shook his head. "I can flirt," I added but he laughed a little harder.

"Your way of flirting is insulting someone until they love you," He chuckled making me sigh, it's a little true.

"I can flirt," I repeated but he chuckled slightly.

"Are you kidding me? A few months ago I let you serve the hottie that looked like Jake Gyllenhaal," He argued making me sigh.

"Fine, watch this," I smirked but he chuckled and gestured for me to go ahead. I took a deep breath before grabbing my notepad and pen. I walked over confidently but with each step my nerves grew. As I was close I shook it off and smiled. I walked around the table and took a seat between the two guys. "Are you looking for something to eat or food?" I asked confidently. I looked straight into the tall guys eyes not breaking eye contact. He raised his eyebrows and was completely shocked. The shorter guy choked on his water.

"Well, we're here to eat," The taller guy started but quickly stammered over his words. "Eat food. We're hungry," He added making me smirk.

"What can I get you?" I asked with a polite smile. The tall guy ordered a salad.

"You know, I don't really mind what I eat, is there anything you can give me off the menu," The shorter guy flirted but I focused on writing the tall guys order down.

"Nope." I added simply with a small smile. He cleared his throat.

"Cheeseburger, please," He added as he closed his menu.

"Okay, are you going to be ordering dessert here or do you want to take me home?" I asked as I made eye contact with the tall guy again. He chuckled with a smirk. He seemed to think for a second.

"What time do you get off?" He asked making me smirk.

"Depends how good your tongue is," I replied and he raised his eyebrows. He chuckled with a wide smile.

"I can pick you up after your shift," He commented with a smile, I couldn't help but smirk back.

"Depends, will you pick me up in the bedroom too?" I asked confidently making him chuckle before nodding. I smirked before standing. "Salad and a cheeseburger coming up," I added before walking away. I shook my hips a little as I walked. Ross followed me into the kitchen. As soon as the door closed he squealed with excitement.

"You were a completely different person, I didn't know you had that in you," He commented making me chuckle. I was buzzing with adrenaline. "You're totally getting it tonight," He added before walking away. I couldn't help but giggle. He is very attractive.
