Chapter 42

What to do, what to do.

I've been grounded for the past three days and I still have no idea when Jc is planning to stop by. Knowing him, it'll be a surprise visit.

I look down from my room as I see the trampoline outside.

"Oh yeah, I have a trampoline" I said to myself as I ran outside, kicked off my shoes and started jumping around.

I started getting hungry, so I went to the kitchen and made myself a sandwich.

But then I wondered: where's Marie?

"Marie? Marie!!!!!!" I yelled out. No answer. So, then I just ran up to her room and saw her laying there. "WHY ARE YOU SLEEPING?!"

"Shut up" she muttered as she switched sides.

"Wake up, wake up, wake up!" I jumped persistently.

"Go away Anna" she answered, obviously getting where I was coming from.

"I can't, the sky's awake so I'm awake" I shook her.

"Melissa please" she begged.

"I won't give up on us, even if the skies get rough-" I started singing.

"Fuck up, Melissa!" she yelled finally, throwing a pillow on me.

"We are definitely family" I laughed, as I left the room.

What do I do now?

So, you know doing the logical thing any mature young lady would do while bored, I started watching SpongeBob and flopped onto the couch.

I mean, of course, I had to tweet about how bored I am... then suddenly my phone froze as a FaceTime call appeared on my screen. It was Jc.

"Hey, beautiful. How you doin'?" he cheered.

"I'm sooooo bored" I complained, as he left.

"Awww... you're so cute!" he sweet-talked.

"Tell me something I don't know" I sassed "just kidding don't lie to me, man!"

"You are, but I heard you're bored?" Jc asked.

"You heard right. I literally just told you that a second ago" I laughed.

"Well, open the door" he said.

"Huh?" I questioned, but I was too late... he had already hung up. I got up and went to go open the door, as I see my beautiful, messy-haired, crazyass- boyfriend. I couldn't help, but just attack him in a hug.

"You missed me?" he chuckled.

"Of course I did you little love muffin!" I squeezed his cheeks.

"Love muffin?" he asked, as he cheerfully got my hands into his releasing them from his cheeks.

"If you're gonna insult me I would like it when you leave, because I'm not in the mood to stay mad at you while you're here" I explained.

"Sorry, did you miss this?" he started wiggling his fingers and I knew what he was doing.

"No, no, no Jc put those away" I backed away.

"Come here cupcake!" he chased me as he picked me and then placed me on the couch and started tickling me.

"Stop it, stop it Jc!" I giggled.

"Then kiss me" Jc smirked.

"It's a no" I paused, as I kept laughing "from me."

"What's going on in here?" of course. Marie would interrupt.

"Oh, hello!" Jc quickly got up and awkwardly waved and then walked to her "My name is Justin and uh..."

"This is my boyfriend" I came and walked by his side.

"Oh, well Jc if you don't mine I'd like to get to know you better. So, how about I make food and I'll call you kids back when it's ready" Marie proposed.

"Sounds amazing, Mrs. Moreo-" he got interrupted by Marie.

"Oh sweety, that's not me" she laughed.

"Oh, um... is there something I can call you by?" he asked as politely as he could.

"Just call me Marie" she smiled.

"Well, um... Marie I was hoping I could take Melissa out for a while and if you still want to call us I can give you my number and just ring me up when you want her back. I mean... only with your approval of course." Jc explained.

"Hm... well she's told me a lot about you... and I somewhat trust you, but leave your number please, Melissa never answers her phone and keep her safe" she scolded.

"Yes ma'am. I won't let anything or anyone touch her" he assured.

Jc gave her his number and then we started heading for the door. When, he stopped me.

"What?" I asked confused.

"You're gonna wear that out?" he questioned.

"Uh, yeah. Is there something something wrong?" I was a bit self-conscious now.

"No, you look beautiful. I'm just a little concerned" he stated.

"Why?"

"Because, you look absolutely beautiful and guys will probably check you out and I can't compete... I mean look at me" he was self-conscious?

"Oh, shut up!" I tippy-toed to kiss his cheek "Don't think like that, ok?"

"Ok" was all he said, before opening the door for me.

"That's so cute" I heard my cousin call out, as I stepped out.

"Stop being creepy!" I yelled out, before Jc closed the door behind him.

As if on cue, a horse carriage came walked and stopped right in front of my house.

"What?!" I freaked out "Jc you didn't."

"I mean, I do call you my princess for a reason" he chuckled.

"Jc, this is too much!" I complained.

"Shut up and get in the car" he joked, as i playfully gasped.

We took the horse carriage along to the park and had a picnic and then back, because we just took a ride downtown and Jc had received a call from Marie to head back.

"Thank you for the ride" Jc thanked the coach of the carriage.

"Pleasure doing business with you. Lad, madam have a very nice rest of your day" and with that the horse carriage left.

"Did he call me madam?" I asked, as Jc nodded "He made me feel old!"

"Let's just go inside, so I can get to know your mom" he stated.

"Oh" was all I could say, before we both stepped into my house. Hopefully, I don't cry and all goes well.
