"Uh- we- I- uh-" I kept stuttering, not knowing what to say.

"Melissa Moreo did me the honor of-" I covered Sam's mouth with my hand then started dragging him to the kitchen.

"Excuse us for a moment" I faked a smile while still dragging Sam.

"What was that for?" Sam asked confused.

"Shhh" I shushed putting my finger over my mouth signaling him to talk in a lower voice "I don't think it's safe to tell Jc yet, Sam."

"Why not?" he smirked.

"You know why Sam" I gave him an expressionless face.

"Fine I won't tell him anything" he stated a bit disappointed. We walked out of the kitchen, meeting the others in the living room.

"What do you think I should not know of?" Jc asked "What are y'all hiding from me?"

"Um- Uh-" I tried thinking of something.

"Your surprise birthday party" Sam blurted out "Melissa wanted to surprise you in September but I guess not anymore."

"Really?" Jc looked at me with a shining gleam in his eyes.

Man those eyes

"Uh yeah" I agreed, trying to not seem suspicious.

"Thank you" Jc smiled "for at least trying." he chuckled.

"Your welcome" I smiled back. I feel so guilty lying to his face.

"Can I take you somewhere?" Jc requested.

"Umm" I looked for Sam's approval, he was upset but nodded "yeah" I accepted.

"Cool, get ready" Jc demanded while giving me cheeky smile.

"Well damn I'll go change right now" I laughed "master" everyone laughed at me calling Jc 'master', but Sam. Sam just stayed serious the entire time. I went up to my room and changed, but when I exited my room I found Sam waiting outside my door. "Uh hey Sammy what's up?"

"Melissa please promise me if he tries anything you won't let it happen" Sam looked at me with worried eyes.

"I promise" I kissed his cheek "when I'm in a relationship I stay committed."

"Thanks baby" he hugged me.

"No prob boo" I smiled, while releasing the hug.

"Well have fun, but not to much fun" Sam scolded.

"Thanks" I laughed, while going downstairs.

"Ready?" Jc asked with a warm smile.

"Ready!" I giggled, as we both exited my house "bye guys".

"Bye" everyone yelled back.

"So where ya taking me" I giggled as I poked his rock hard stomach.

"It's a little surprise" he smiled as he placed his arm over my shoulder, causing me to feel a bit uncomfortable.

This isn't cheating, is it? Nah.

We walked over to his car.

"Oh I see you brought your car with you" I smiled.

"Yes ma'am I did" he said in his attractive accent.

"I like your voice" I didn't even notice I said that, so I quickly blushed in embarrassment.

"Aww it's ok don't blush I like your voice too" he winked, as he opened the passenger's side door.

"Thank you" I thanked as I gracefully entered the nice-looking, black vehicle.
