The break for the holidays had begun. All students had gotten an invite to an annual Christmas party in the college gym, just like the Halloween party. Christmas was just one week away, but with all the other activities planned, a lot of the group hadn't gone shopping yet. Fortunately, due to the fact that wouldn't be classes for a while, they were free to shop every day of the week if they wanted to.
So, on this beautiful Saturday, the girls decided to go to the mall. All of them still needed to buy their special Secret Santa gift plus their regular gifts for people, so all of them brought their bag for the gift challenge. They would put the gift in as soon as they bought it and put tissue paper over it so nobody saw what it was. Sakura suggested that the group splits up first and buys the gift and then everyone would meet back at Ino's car after texting the group chat, put the gift in there, and then do their regular Christmas shopping. They all agreed with the suggestion.
Tenten stood in the middle of the crowded mall, which was blaring Christmas music and filled the voices of people. She still couldn't decide what the hell to get Neji. Taking her phone out, she searched up 'gifts to give men', but no luck, so she wandered around the mall while keeping her phone out for notifications. Eventually, she stumbled upon a store with fashion watches. I guess I can try to find something from here, she thought.
After deciding on a black and gold watch, she paid for it and stepped out of the store, checking her phone. Ino and Temari had finished their shopping, but Hinata and Sakura were still finding something. Tenten took a glance at her surroundings to check for anyone she knew before sitting down on a bench in front of a store. She glanced into the bag and saw a large amount of neatly folded tissue paper. She wrapped the watch box in some tissue paper and placed it in the bag, writing 'Neji Hyuga' on the inside of the the bag with a pen from her purse. After folding the gift receipt and dropping it in the gift bag, she finished by shoving a bunch of tissue paper into the bag.
Once she texted the group chat that she was done, she headed out of the mall and into the parking lot, going over to Ino's car. She and Temari were chatting and they waved when they saw Tenten.
"Hinata is on her way and Sakura is still looking for a gift," Ino announced after checking her phone.
"Ok. Is the trunk unlocked?" Tenten replied, Ino giving a nod at her question. She opened the trunk and placed her gift bag in.
A few minutes later, Sakura arrived with her gift bag in hand. She also placed hers in the trunk. Once Hinata had arrived and put hers in the car too, the five girls began their Christmas shopping, some of them getting stuff for their Christmas party outfits as well.

Once the girls arrived back at the dorms, Ino let them inside her dorm room one by one, allowing them to put their bag down in the corner. There were multiple gift bags already there, and each girl swapped their bags with one already there and placed that one in another spot, just for anonymity's sake. After that was done, the girls went out for dinner.
