Author's Note: I don't know how Japanese Christmas traditions work, I apologize ;-;. I live in America so this chappy won't be perfectly accurate, or even accurate at all lol.

Throughout the week, Tenten mostly slept in, ate, stared at an electronic, or packed for the vacation. Her Christmas shopping was done and she'd already planned a present for each member of the group, including a present for Neji so he wouldn't know who his anonymous giver is. She had also gotten an even larger gift bag to place everyone's gifts in, so that she could just haul it to Ino and Temari's dorm on Christmas day.
Aito bothered her every once in a while, but every time she just told him to leave her alone. He was so persistent, for goodness sake. Word had gotten out that she and Neji were 'dating again', which caused Ami, Karin, and many of their friends to shoot her dirty looks whenever they saw her, which Tenten didn't mind at all. If they chose to be pissed off about it, that was their problem.
Finally, the day of the Christmas Party came. Tenten put on a black and red mid-thigh dress with shorts underneath, her black string necklace with the silver swirl, and a pair of black heels that weren't too high, putting her hair down. She then slid her key card and phone into a concealed pocket in her dress before heading over to Ino and Temari's dorm. Sakura and Hinata were already there, and currently Hinata's makeup was getting done by Ino. Once she finished with that, she worked on Sakura's makeup and then Tenten's.
Sakura's Outfit: A pink and red dress that went below her knees, a silver necklace with an emerald pendant, and silver heels. Her hair, which stayed down, had a red bow in it.
Temari's Outfit: Dark green and red dress that went mid-thigh, her hair up in its usual four ponytails, and dark green, suede boots that almost reached her knees.
Hinata's Outfit: A lilac ombre dress that went past her knees, a silver necklace with an amethyst pendant, and silver close-toe heels. Her hair stayed down.
Ino's Outfit: Long, shimmering blue dress that went down to her ankles, golden pumps, and a gold necklace. Her hair was up in her usual ponytail, but it was curled.
"Great, your outfits are all Ino-approved! You all look amazing by the way," The platinum blonde complimented with a grin. The girls thanked her, heading out the dorm and towards the college building. They entered the gym, which was decorated with lights, trees, and other decorations in red, green, and white. "They play some soft, peaceful Christmas music that you can slow dance to and then halfway through they switch to upbeat stuff," Ino explained with a shrug, "I don't know why they do it, I just know that they do."
And so, the music began. Tenten noticed Naruto dragging a very reluctant Sasuke onto the dance floor, and she chuckled in amusement. Poor Sasuke.
Since she had no one to dance with and she didn't feel like asking a complete stranger, she headed over to the refreshment table, intent on having a cookie or two. On the way, she felt a hand grab her arm.
"May I have this dance?" A very familiar voice asked.
