Chapter 42:Mission Undead

DAMON'S POV

It was four in the morning when I opened my eyes.I got up from my bed and took a bath.After cleaning myself I wore my travel clothes and went out of my room.

I saw Blood leaning on his room's door while staring at the ceiling.When I closed my door, I think he heard it because he looked at my direction.

For everybody to know Blood will accompany me and Lazarus to where I'm heading.Tsk.I remembered how worried he was when I told him last night that I'm going to the Dimension of the dead.He asked me if he could go with me since his magie is one of Destros but I rejected his offer.That bastard didn't listen to me and asked me over and over again.His so persistent like hell so without a choice I just agreed to his offer.Veal also wanted to come with me but his magie is not compatible to our destination so he will be left alone here.

"Alis na tayo?"Tanong sa akin ni Blood na tinanguan ko na lamang.

We were about to start walking when Veal's door opened.Spitting him out of the room.Agad niya akong niyakap at sinuklian ko naman.He will be alone for a day or two so he might miss us a bit.

"Mag-ingat kayong dalawa ha?"he said between his sobs.I caressed his back while saying that everything will be alright.

"I promise I'll be back in one piece."Kumalas ako sa pagkakayakap sa kaniya at tiningnan siya ng diretso sa mata.

"Ikaw Blood mag-ingat ka ring ogag ka ha?"I saw Blood blushed hearing those words from Veal.May something talaga sa dalawang 'to eh.Blood scratched the back of his head as he nods.

After bidding our farewell na parang sasabak kami sa giyera na hindi na babalik pumunta agad kami sa field para makipagkita sa headmistress at sa magdadala sa amin sa aming pupuntahan.

"Okay boys come back safe okay?And don't forget kung ano ang pinunta niyo doon."a crack in the air was heard as a portal opened in front of us.

Lumingon ako sa gumawa ng portal na aming papasukan at binigyan ko siya ng isang matamis na ngiti.

"Thank for the help Joyce."ani ko.

"No problem basta bumalik kayo ha."

"Sure"At pumasok na kami ni Blood sa portal.

Nang makalabas kami ay isang napakalaking patay na puno ang bumungad sa amin.Naalala ko bigla ang sabi sa amin ni Headmistress.

"Ang patay na puno ang siyang lagusan patungo sa inyong paroroonan subalit hindi ito magbubukas hanggat hindi nababanggit ang mahiwagang salita.Opras rodinta marmales"

"Opras rodinta marmales!"gumalaw bigla ang puno.Lumabas ang mga ugat nitong nakalibing sa lupa at nagsilbing paa.Umikot ito ng 360º at may nabuong isang malaking butas sa paanan nito.

"Ang lagusan ng Patay ay nagbukas na"halos mapatalon ako sa gulat ng biglang magsalita ang puno.

Waaaahhh ineengkanto kami!!ay sorry gawa pala ito ng mahika heheh.

Nagliwanag ang malaking butas at may lumitaw na portal.Nagkatitigan kami ni Blood ng ilang minuto hanggang sa napagpasyahan na naming pumasok.

My stomach aches like it was twisted and turned upside down.This feeling was not like when I usually get inside a portal,this portal is odd.Like its sucking the hell out of my body.When we went out of that portal I was like a withered vegetable.My energy was nowhere to be found,I felt weak and worthless.

I know it was just a challenge,still we need to keep going.Blood held his hand to me to assist,he pulled me up and helped me walk properly.I suddenly remember that the fucking serpent of mine was just hiding on my pocket.Stupid Lazarus,sometimes his so lame and useless.
