Resting my back against the wall I searched around me as students began to flood out of sports and leisure building.

Shawn's class had finished about five minutes and I had decided to surprise him before he has to shoot off again for practice, which he has all afternoon and evening.

We haven't seen each other at all since our date the other night. Shawn had been super busy with basketball practice for the big the game tomorrow night. He still always made time to call me at least once a day, normally just before he heads off to sleep.

Of course I wish that we had gotten to see eachother and spend more time together since our date but I understand why we haven't been able to. I mean he's got his own responsibilities to take care of and one thing I've learnt about Shawn by now is that he's a really hard worker.

Turning my head to the right my eyes caught Shawn as he finally came strolling out of the building, clenching onto the strap of his gym bag.

"Shawn!" I called out, causing him to eventually turn his head around until his eyes found me.

As his lips rose into a wide grin he let out a small sigh before walking his way over towards me, dropping his shoulders as if to relax.

"What are you doing here?" Shawn grinned, now standing infront of me, as I looked up at his beaming eyes.

"I thought that I'd bring you some coffee" I smiled, making Shawn's smile grow wider as dimples pierced his cheeks.

Passing him the coffee Shawn took it in his large hand, failing to let the warm smile fall from his lips.

"Thank you so much" Shawn grinned, a content sigh leaving his lips as he took a sip of the coffee.

"I just thought that you were probably stressed out with all this practice you were going so I thought I'd just pop by to see how you were" I explained, making Shawn softly laugh, as he smiled purely down at me, his honey eyes melting into mine.

"Well thank you for coming by, I've missed you" Shawn warmly smile, taking his free hand to my face and gently squeezing my cheek.

Feeling my cheeks burn against his hand I let out a soft laugh as I shyly glanced up at him, loving the feeling of his skin on mine.

"I've miss you too" I soothed, making Shawn's smile grow even more than what I already thought was possible.

"I'm sorry that we haven't seen eachother all week but I promise you that, after the game tomorrow, you get me all of next week" Shawn grinned, his eyes full of tease, as he rose his brows at me.

"I look forward to it" I lightly laughed, Shawn's hand now falling from my cheek.

"You're coming tomorrow to the game tomorrow night, right?" Shawn asked before taking another sip of his coffee.

"Of course" I nodded, resulting in a pleased smile aligning across Shawn's lips.

"Good, I expect to see you on the front row" Shawn grinned, sending me a pointing look.

"I'll try" I softly laughed, playfully rolling my eyes.

"Anyway, I should get going. Practice starts in ten minutes" Shawn then said, a short sigh leaving his lips, as he glanced down at the watch on his wrist.

"Okay, well, have a good time. I'll see you tomorrow" I smiled up at him as his kind eyes focused on mine, before slowly flicking down to my lips

Noticing how his eyes had now centred in on my lips I felt my throat turn dry as I swallowed away the anxious lump forming forming in my throat.
