Sitting in the parking lot of a Five Guys Elle and I sat in the warmth of my car as we ate our food.

"I swear the only thing we do together is eat food" Elle commented, causing me to chuckle mid bite of my burger.

"It's like the best thing to do though" I grinned, chewing and swallowing my mouthful quickly so I could talk.

"What are your plans for tomorrow?" Elle then asked, sitting on her seat sideways so she was completely facing me, as she rested the straw of her strawberry milkshake between her lips.

"I've got an early practice in the morning and then I'm doing nothing for the rest of the day" I replied, my eyes watching Elle, as she pulled her silky dark hair to one side, over her shoulder.

"Well do you wanna do something?" Elle smiled, falling shy, before taking a few sips of her drink.

"Are you asking me out on a date Elle?" I teased, raising my eyebrows at her, as a wide grin found it's way onto my lips, a giddy feeling swarming inside of me.

"Not a date exactly, more like wondering if you wanted to come over tomorrow night?" Elle shyly asked, her cheeks flushed pink, as I laughed at how awkward she was.

"Date or not, I'll be there" I grinned, reaching forward and tucking her loose strands of hair behind her ear.

This only made her cheeks heat up more as her eyes lifted to mine, glowing with so much warmth.

"Besides, I wanted to be the one to ask you out on a date first" I smirked before letting go of her hair and picking my drink up from between my thighs.

"Where you gonna take me?" Elle asked, leaning the side of her head against the chair, as she grabbed some chips out of the box that was resting in between us.

"I haven't thought that far ahead yet" I  chuckled, smiling down at her, as she softly laughed, playfully rolling her eyes.

"Where do you wanna go?" I asked before taking sips of my banana milkshake.

"I don't know" Elle shrugged causing me to playfully sigh.

"You're so helpful" I teased as I raised my brows at her, causing her to lightly scoff.

"Well I'm sorry Mendes" Elle sighed dramatically, a pretty smirk on her lips, as she sent me a soft glare.

"Don't worry, I'll figure something out" I grinned, sending her a wink, before leaning comfortably back in my chair and taking another bite of my burger.

After swallowing my mouthful I took a few sips of my milkshake before throwing my finished meal into the paper bag it came in.

"Anyway, can we just talk about Heidi and Liam back there? I can't be the only one who thought it was strange" I then spoke up, taking a napkin and wiping my greasy hands.

"Yeah I know, Heidi literally was only saying to me yesterday how she saw nothing in him" Elle replied, frowning her brows, as she continued to make her way through the rest of her food.
