Laying under my duvet I boredly scrolled through my phone as I snuggled by head comfortably into my pillow. As I scrolled aimlessly through Instagram I heard the water stop running from the sink, followed by Shawn emerging from the bathroom.

"Your bathroom is so much nicer than mine and Liam's" Shawn chuckled, now dressed in a plain white t and a pair of grey jogging bottoms.

"That's because we like to keep things clean and tidy" I teased, pointing my eyebrows at him, as I turned my off and sat up so I could look at him.

"Hey, we aren't that bad" Shawn faintly rolled his eyes, followed by a smirk, as he stood at the end of my bed with his hands on his hips.

"Did you wanna watch a movie or something before we go to sleep?" I then asked, holding the duvet against me for warmth, as I sat there in just a white vest and a pair of black shorts.

"Yeah sure but I can't make any promises that I won't fall asleep" Shawn lightly laughed, a yawn leaving his lips shortly after.

"Can you get my laptop? It's on my desk" I smiled over at Shawn before shifting towards the wall side of the bed to make room for him to sit with me.

Turning around Shawn then walked over to my desk before picking up my laptop. Just as he was about to turn around Shawn's eyes caught onto something on the desk as he began to pick up one of my framed photos.

"You keep a picture of you and your ex on your desk?" Shawn asked, frowning a little, as he glanced over at me with the framed photo of Joe and I in his hand.

"It was a gift, I completely forgot it was there to be honest" I softly laughed, trying to light up the sudden shift in tension.

"Okay" Shawn simply nodded before placing the photo back down on the desk and then walking over to me.

Handing me the laptop I took it in my lap before shuffling backwards so my back was lent up against a pillow.

"What do you wanna watch?" I asked, resulting in a small shrug from Shawn, as he plunged down next to me, a blunt and blank expression on his face.

"Shawn" I sighed, lightly rolling my eyes, as Shawn also laid his back against the pillow.

"What?" Shawn mumbled as he glanced down at me, his arms folded across his chest.

"You have nothing to worry about" I replied softly, meaning every word, as I tried to read him with reassurance.

"I promise you"

Seeing Shawn's eyes soften, his face visibly relaxed as I placed my hand gently on his cheek. Leaning up, I closed my eyes as I pressed my lips generously against his.

As my lips remained on his, I then felt Shawn's hand clasp over the top of mine, as it rested on his cheek, followed by him intertwining his fingers with mine.

Feeling a small smile creep onto my lips I then pulled away from Shawn before resting my forehead on his shoulder, a rush of shyness all of a sudden coming over me.

As I sunk my head into the crook of Shawn's shoulder he let out an amused chuckle before taking our joined hands and placing a soft kiss to the back of mine.

Feeling myself slowly awaken I let out a muffled groan as I sunk my head further into the pillow, well that's what I thought until my head hit something hard and hot.
