Holding onto the strap of my gym bag I jogged down the steps of my class building before making my way across campus, in the direction of the nearest coffee place.

I had just finished my only monday class, which was a practical and involved lots of track running, and now was in dying need of caffeine to wake me up.

Normally I wouldn't be this tired after my monday morning practical but seeing as I didn't get back to my dorm until the early hours of the morning i was beyond exhausted.

Yesterday Liam and I had spent the whole day at his grandparents house helping them redecorate and refurbish their new bungalow, which was here in Montreal. Liam's grandparents had always treated me as if I was another grandson to them. All they has was Liam and his parents, and so I guess they happy to treat me like another member of the family.

Continuing my way across campus  I wiped my hand through my messy and damp hair as I let my eyes roam around my surroundings.

Feeling a smile begin to curl onto my lips, my eyes caught a glimpse of Elle as she sat on the grass underneath one of the large oak trees, her face submerged in whatever book she reading.

Changing my direction I began to walk my way over towards her as she peacefully rested her back against the tree, not yet having taken a second to look up.

As my footsteps neared closer towards her she eventually noticed my presence. Glancing up from her book Elle's eyes found me as I now stood a metre away infront of her.

"Hey" Elle greeted, a warm smile rising onto her lips, as she closed her book and held it on her lap.

"Hey, aren't you cold down there?" I chuckled, raising my eyebrows at her, as she softly laughed in response.

"The grass was a little cold at first but now I think my butt has become a little numb to it" Elle laughed, causing me to smirk, followed by another soft chuckle, as I then joined her and plunged down next to her.

"Did you just have class?" Elle asked, a tired sigh falling from my lips, as I comfortably rested my back against the large tree trunk.

"Yeah, I had to run track for like an hour and now all I wanna do is sleep" I moaned, closing my eyes, as I lent my head back against the tree.

"Then why don't you go home and get some sleep?" Elle let out a soft laugh as I remained there with my eyes closed, my arms now folded across my chest.

"I was going to, but first I was on my way to get coffee- well, that was until I saw you" I replied, a smirk finding it's way onto my lips, as I opened my eyes to glance down at Elle.

"We could go get coffee together if you want?" Elle suggested, a smile at her lips, as she raised her eyebrows with tease.

"I'd love that" I grinned, making her laugh, as she playfully rolled her eyes.

"Come on" Elle smiled, a short sigh passing her lips, as she stood up from her spot.

"Have you got any classes today?" I asked, joining her as I stood up and swung my bag back over my shoulder.

"I've got a tutorial at one" Elle replied, clutching the book to her chest, as the two of began to make our way towards the nearest coffee shop.

"What time do you get off? I was thinking that maybe we could do something?" I suggested, biting down on my bottom lip in hope that she would say yes- I mean, I really enjoyed spending time with her.

"I can't, I've already got plans" Elle sighed, faintly rolling her eyes, as I frowned at her face of disappointment.

"You don't sound to pleased about that" I gave her a small smile as soft groan left her lips.

"It's just some stupid sorority thing Emily invited us to. I tried to get out of it but Heidi really wants to to but doesn't want to go on her own" Elle explained, causing me to lightly laugh at the unamused expression.

"You have a hard time saying no don't you?" I asked, raising my eyebrows at her, as she glanced up at me, rolling her eyes.

"I just don't like to disappoint people" she sighed in response as I looked forward to see the coffee shop coming up close on my left.

"That doesn't mean you should have to do things that you don't want to do" I explained as Elle shrugged in response.

"How about you go there for an hour and then I ring with some fake emergency and come pick you up?" I suggested, stopping outside of the coffee shop so I could face Elle.

"I might have to use you to bail me out of all these boring functions" Elle smirked as I softly chuckled before grinning warmly down at her.

"Just call me and I'll be there" I grinned making her smile turn shy as her cheeks began to blush.

Laughing at her sudden pink flush I then placed my hand on the door before pushing it open and stepping aside for Elle to go in first.

|2:30pm|

Hearing the door to my dorm room unlock I barely opened my eyes I squinted towards the door so see Liam sluggishly walking in.

"Tired?" I asked, my voice muffled, as my head laid buried into my pillow.

"Yes" Liam grumbled, dropping all his stuff onto the floor, before sdropping face first onto his bed.

"Have you been asleep?" Liam mumbled, his head also sunk into his pillow.

"Yeah, I woke up like ten minutes ago" I replied, a tired yawn leaving my lips, as I rolled over onto my back.

"I'm not moving off this bed for the rest of the day" Liam muttered, sounding as if he was about to pass out at any second.

"What about tonight?" I asked as I gradually sat up, stretching my arms and legs out infront of me.

"What about tonight?" Liam groaned, practically hugging his pillow, as used his feet to kick his dirty clothes off the end of his bed.

"You promised Kyle that you would go help him work on his car" I reminded, squinting my tired eyes, as I ruffled my fingers through my bed hair.

"You go" Liam mumbled, swinging his arm up in the air.

"I know nothing about cars, you're the one who's majoring in mechanics. Plus, I've already made plans" I explained as I shifted up from my bed.

"You're going out by choice?" Liam groaned, making me let out a chuckle, as I then pulled my hoodie and top over my head to stand there in just my jeans.

"I'm seeing Elle later" I replied, lightly scratching my fingers over my chest, before grabbing a clean towel out of my clothes draw.

"She's been invited to this sorority thing and she really doesn't want to go but told Heidi she would so I'm going to help her get out of it and-" I began explaining before turning around to see that Liam had fallen fast asleep halfway through my story, snores now falling from his parted lips.

Chucking quietly to myself I lightly shook my head before swinging my towel over my shoulder and walking into the bathroom to shower and wake myself up.
