|9:55am|Letting out a mumbled groan I slowly opened my eyes before placing my hand on my pounding head.
Turning over in my bed I looked over to Heidi's bed where she laying down scrolling through her phone.
"Morning" I grumbled, feeling so rough from last night.
"Morning" Heidi replied, putting her phone down and rolling onto her side to face me.
"How's the hangover?"
"Horrible, I feel like someone is drilling into the back of my head" I sighed before sitting up and tiredly resting my face in my hands.
"Yeah I don't feel that great either. I swear we didn't even drink that much last night" Heidi explained as I lifted my head back up to look at her.
"Well I played a few rounds of beer pong with that Liam guy" I replied, remembering that I did take alot of shots during the game.
"Speaking of him, he's so hot" Heidi gushed, now sitting up so she was laying against the wall.
"Yeah but he looks like he could break your heart in seconds" I rose my eyebrows at her.
"I'm not looking for anything serious, just a little bit of fun" Heidi smirked, making me roll my eyes as I let out a small laugh.
"Don't you want stability? I mean it can't be that satisfying going from one guy to the next" I lectured, not too keen on the idea as I didn't think that hooking up with loads of different guys was the safest thing to do.
"We're eighteen Eloise, it's the perfect time to just enjoy ourselves and not be tied down" Heidi replied as I pushed the duvet off me and swung my legs off the side of the bed.
"I guess" I shrugged, not exactly convinced by the idea, as I jumped down from my bed.
"What about that Shawn guy that was helping you? He's super cute" Heidi then added, immediately causing my cheeks to become flushed as I thought back to last night.
"Yeah he was nice and all but-" I began Heidi cut me off.
"But what? He was obviously totally into you" Heidi rose her eyebrows, sending me an amused look.
"He was just being a gentleman. Plus he's way out of my league" I sighed before going into the bathroom and leaving the door open so I could hear Heidi.
"Sure, he's hot but so are you Eloise. I don't think you realise just how gorgeous you are" Heidi began, making a shy smile begin tugging at my lips as I began washing my face with a wet flannel.
"Even if I did try and go there, did you see him Heidi? He must have girls throwing themselves at him left, right and centre. I can't compete with that" I lightly laughed before standing in the doorway to look at her as I wiped the mascara away from under my eyes.
"I doubt that. I mean in class, yeah, girls come up to him but he always shrugs them off, he likes to keep to himself" Heidi explained as a quiet sigh fell from my lips.
"Forget it Heidi, it's not happening" I replied, letting out a soft laugh before going into the bathroom and closing the door behind me so I could shower.

Walking into a local cafe off campus I was greeted with the smells of freshly baked goods and coffee.
As I entered the warm cafe I made my way over to the short que before reaching into my bag to get out my purse ready.
After a few minutes of waiting I was finally at the front and ordered a latte to go.
Waiting for them to finish making my drink I began to let my eyes wander around the room, letting myself admire the hundreds of paintings and pictures decorated all across the walls.
"Eloise?" Someone began to call my name from the other side of the cafe.
Searching the cafe until I found the person who called my name I eventually smiled as my eyes found Liam who was sat in a booth looking my way.
"Hi Liam" I smiled, sending him a small wave.
Taking that as an invitation to come over Liam slid up from the booth before walking his way over to me.
"Are you stalking me?" I joked, raising my eyebrows at him as I took my now made latte off the counter.
"You wish" Liam smirked, charm in his eyes as he moved his fingers through his hair.
Lightly laughing I flicked my eyes down to the floor before looking back up at him.
"You wanna join us?" Liam asked, looking back to where he was sat with Kyle and another girl I didn't recognise.
"I'm sorry but I've got a date with studying" I softly laughed, making Liam let out a husky chuckle.
"You're in first year right?" Liam asked, his eyebrows raised as a smile played at his lips.
"Yeah" I replied, frowning my eyebrows at what that had to do with anything.
"Then why are you studying already? I mean this is the year you can just do whatever you want and it won't matter" Liam chuckled, making me lightly shake my head as I also let out a small laugh.
"God, you sound just like my roommate" I laughed, making an amused smile plant on his lips.
"Well she and I would get along very well then" Liam smirked.
"You already do, I mean she was the girl you were sucking the face off of last night" I reminded, instantly making Liam scrunch his nose up.
"Oh yeah, Heidi. I completely forgot" Liam laughed as he sunk his hands into his front pockets.
"Anyway, I better get going. I've got alot to do" I smiled, adjusting my bag strap on my shoulder.
"Okay, well have fun with that and maybe I'll see you around" Liam replied, returning a warm smile.

Here's another chapter for you all! I know it's shorter than the others but the next chapter is going to focus on Shawn's POV!Compared to Devoted S.M I want this book to focus on more than just purely Shawn and Elle's relationship. In this book I plan to highlight the bond between Heidi and Elle and the importance of their friendship.
I also intend to focus alot more on Liam and his story so you guys can understand who he is as a person, and perhaps why he grew to like Elle in Devoted S.M. Hopefully this book will give you an understanding of how Liam's interest in Elle didn't just spark out of the blue but rather make you sympathise with him.
