All I could do was keep my gaze on her as she sat there looking so effortlessly beautiful. Even after having practically just rolled out of bed, she still looked stunning.

As I kept my eyes engaged on Elle she just aimlessly let her eyes wander around the room as she sipped tea from her mug, the morning light from the window shining through and hitting one side of her face.

Feeling a smile tug on my lips all I could think about was how content I felt right now, in this moment. I just felt at so peace.

"Have you got anymore basketball games before winter break?" Elle asked, turning her head to look at me, as I briefly glanced away to make it look like I hadn't been staring at her.

"No, that was the last one until we come back in January" I replied as I picked up my strawberry and banana smoothie before resting the straw between my lips.

"What are you doing over Christmas?" Elle smiled, a satisfied sigh leaving her lips, as she rested the warm mug between her hands.

"Well I'm going back to Toronto to spend it with my family. Liam and I are driving down there friday evening" I explained, Friday being the last day of college before winter break starts.

"Driving? Why don't you just fly down there? It's a long drive" Elle lightly laughed, making me smile, as I finished sipping my drink and placed it back down on the table.

"It's so much more fun driving down there. Liam and I love taking road trips back home" I grinned before glancing past Elle to see that the waitress was now walking towards us with our food.

"That couldn't be me. I hate sitting in the car too long" Elle laughed, lightly shaking her head, as I chuckled in amusement.

"Oh so we aren't going to take road trips then?" I smirked, raising my eyebrows at her, as she softly laughed in response.

Seeing the the waitress had now reached our table both Elle and I thanked her as she placed each of our plates down infront of us.

"I'm being serious though, I want to take you on a road trip somewhere" I continued as I turned my attention back onto Elle, the waitress now having left.

"I just feel like I'd get bored" Elle softly sighed as she began unwrapping her cutlery from he napkin.

"You'll never get bored with me around, I promise you that" I smirked, narrowing my eyes at her, as I also grabbed my cutlery and began cutting into the yolk of my fried egg.

As precious laughter left her lips she playfully rolled her eyes at me, immediately making a wide smile grow onto my lips.

"Well where do you have in mind Mendes?" Elle grinned, raising her eyebrows at me.

"Well firstly I want to show you around Toronto and then anywhere else is completely up to you, I mean you're the one who does all the travelling" I chuckled, making Elle follow with a soft laugh, as she placed a bite of avocado on toast in her mouth.

"How about Paris?" Elle smirked, giving me a pointed look, as I simply chuckled.

"Paris, eh?" I grinned before taking a bite of my eggs Benedict.

"Yeah, I mean ofcourse I'm only joking as it would be insane for to even go there and-" Elle began to ramble as her cheeks began to turn a shade of red.

"Why would that be insane?" I lightly chuckled, frowning by brows at her.

"Because we're haven't even known each other that long and we're only eighteen. Plus we don't have the money to travel all the way to Paris" Elle softly laughed.
