Chapter 16

Y/n's POV:
I was texting my friends, telling them what was going on. I still wish I was back in America sometimes, because my friends that I've known for a long time are there and it hurts to be away from them.

I like it here, but I liked it over there as well. I hope we can go there soon, so I can be able to visit my friends. I finished texting them, and I even texted Min as well. I decided to take a nap again.

I know Auntie said I won't be able to sleep tonight, but oh well I'm still taking a nap. But before I could, I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in"

Auntie Jihyo walked in holding my teddy bear "I came to give this to you"

I sit up and take it from Auntie, I can tell she's still a little nervous about something, but she sat on the edge of my bed

Jihyo: "So what do you think of Daniel?"

"I like him. I mean it's not like I ever disliked him. But yeah I like him. Don't worry Auntie"

She kissed my forehead "I saw you, don't think about taking another nap. You won't be able to sleep tonight"

I groaned "What else am I supposed to do? I texted all my friends, I finally got out of the cave In Minecraft, and I'm bored with all the games I have on my phone"

She started thinking "Go ask Mina for something? She has all these Legos, puzzles, and games. I swear you better not take a nap"

She got up, right before she walked out the door, she gave me the look. I waited for the door to close before I started to think about it.

Do I really have to do something other than take a nap? Sleep sounds really good, and I want some. I don't want to go ask Auntie Mina for anything. I go on my phone for a tiny bit

I hugged the teddy bear, thinking he needs a name. But overall, I debate taking a nap, I mean all she'll do is scold me, and it's not a huge deal so that's it.

I decided to just go to sleep. I put my phone down, got really comfortable while hugging the bear and knocked out pretty quickly.

Jihyo's POV:
I walked into Y/n's room and gave her the teddy bear back. She looked like she was getting ready for another nap, but I'm telling you she doesn't sleep at night, and that's what she needs. I know we don't have a schedule, she still can't sleep all day.

After our talk and my warning, I hope she'll listen and try to stay awake. We only have the other half of the day.

Me and Daniel watch a movie while we wait for lunch to arrive. I'm starting to get really hungry, and I really want to eat. I hope the food comes pretty soon, because we ordered it a while back.

I noticed Y/n never left her room to ask Mina for anything or to do anything at least. I guess she decides to play games on her phone because I know she will listen to me.

When the movie ended, we were about to start another one but the food arrived. I called Mina to get Y/n from her room to eat, while Chae gathered the rest since they are in 2 rooms.

I stayed with Daniel, paid for the food, and set it up on the floor. Daniel puts on a movie that we can all watch together and wait for everyone to come.

We're having pizza, which I'm actually excited for since we've haven't had pizza in a while. Finally everyone comes to the living room and I'm happy because now we can eat. But I don't know, something seems off about Y/n, she seems extra tired than before.

I was looking at her suspiciously because I don't know, I feel like she would be more awake if she was just playing games. I can tell she saw me because she tried to avoid all eye contact with me.

Mina's POV:
I'm in my room, and I heard the doorbell so I guess the food is here, that's good because I'm hungry. Jihyo called me to get Y/n, while Chae gets the others.

I walked up to her door and knocked but she didn't answer it. So I opened the door, seeing her asleep while cuddling with her brand new bear. I couldn't help it and took a picture to show everyone later, then I woke her up.

"Y/n, lunch is here"

She got up, looking around quickly before sighing like she felt relieved. I wonder why though.

Y/n: I'm sorry Auntie...Can you please not tell Auntie Jihyo. She told me not to go to sleep because I won't be able to sleep tonight. This is my third nap I've taken today and she won't be happy"

Ohh that's it, she just doesn't want to get in trouble by Jihyo. I mean I wouldn't want to either. So I just nodded to promise her that I would tell Jihyo.

Y/n fixed her hair, then we left her room and went to the living room, sitting around the food. I saw Jihyo looking at Y/n because I'll admit Y/n looks really tired but that's kind of like an after effect of sleeping.

Y/n looked at Jihyo and saw Jihyo eyeing her. She quickly looked away avoiding eye contact. That is like the most obvious sign, she really is the worst liar I've ever met. Even worse than Tzuyu.

Y/n's POV:
Mina woke me up, I'm so happy that she agreed not to tell Auntie Jihyo. We made it to the living room, now sitting around the food. I noticed Auntie staring at me like she was trying to figure out something. I guess she notices that I'm a little off because I just woke up.

I tried my best to avoid any eye contact with her, even though that was the obvious, I don't care, I don't want to be in trouble. I avoided talking because I know I would yawn and that would get me caught.

I guess I'm not good at hiding anything because she put her plate down, and looked right at me. I was carefully grabbing my slice, but Auntie Jihyo had different plans.

Jihyo: "Y/n, what's wrong?"

I froze, I tried to see if I was gonna yawn, but I didn't feel anything so I think that I'm okay, so I smiled and looked at Auntie Jihyo.

"Nothing Aun...tie"

Great, I just yawned in the middle, I made sure that I wasn't going to. So here I'm caught red handed. She was glaring at me, but then looked at Auntie Mina, who started shuffling uncomfortably where she sat.

Jihyo: "Mina, when you went to get Y/n, was she taking a nap?"

At this point everyone is staring at me and Auntie Mina waiting for her response. Mina just continued to eat her pizza, but after a while she slowly nodded...Welp I'm in trouble.

Before I could say anything Auntie Mina started "I'm sorry Y/n, but I also got this most adorable picture"

She showed them the picture, it was me hugging the bear, that still needs a name. Everyone found it really cute, and Daniel seemed really happy that I was cuddling with the bear he bought me.

Auntie Jihyo looked back at me, more like glare. It's these moments I remember that she's God Jihyo

Jihyo: "Y/n, the reason I said you shouldn't take a nap is because you won't be able to sleep tonight. You slept in the car, you slept when we got home, and you slept right before lunch now. If you were busy all day, and a nap could only last 10 minutes or 5 minutes. Then sure it's okay to take that many naps. But yours lasts for over an hour or 2 hours long. You have more energy at night when you should be asleep. So if you keep taking naps today then you will so much Em where and not sleep. You can't sleep all day, it's not healthy so I'm telling you right now, this is your last warning. I'm serious Y/n"

I nod slowly, it's so embarrassing getting scolded in front of everyone. But yet again, I chose that fate when I decided to sleep instead of living to Auntie Jihyo.
