Life with Twice

Chapter 36

Y/n's POV:
I should explain everything. So I went on a few dates with Min during these last 3 weeks, I didn't tell her that I'm singing. Plus I'm gonna pull off 2 different surprises in one night.

Min said that I was getting good in Korean, because I studied. I mean when I wasn't getting distracted by Min cause she's just...Wow *cough* moving on.

I kept going to singing lessons, and I can admit that I sound good compared to when I first started, but Twice has been on my butt, wondering what I'm doing.

So I've been staying in bed for the past few days trying not to be suspicious, and it seemed to be working. Mom also talked to my teacher and she said that she will give me all my work the day before I leave, so I have work....yay...

Today is the day of the Seoul concert, and I'm excited because I get to pull off my surprises, but I have to stay calm. So I'm just sitting in the car waiting for mom, Aunties Mina, Jeongyeon, Nayeon, and Tzuyu to come.

Auntie Nayeon got inside excited "Are you ready Y/n!"

I nodded "Yes Auntie, but you'll be speaking Korean. At least I get to enjoy your songs"

Mom got inside the car "Manager unnie will translate it for you"

We made it to the concert hall, which was big, and backstage was amazing. They had to go to rehearsal, so I went to the dressing room and practiced my song, which I got to do a few times, but I decided I was ready.

Let the night begin...

Mom kissed me on my forehead when they got on the stage, so me and stylist unnie fixed their outfits, but when the stage started to open we ran out.

They started off with Stuck In My Head then played 2 more songs after that. 3 songs played for the beginning, then there were introductions, and manager unnie was translating for me, but I actually knew what they were saying, it was just great to hear it in English.

They came back stage and did what felt like the quickest outfit change ever, then went back onstage to do their next set of songs. Since I was backstage, I was able to see them dance because there were screens in the back, so I enjoyed the whole thing.

Min sent me a photo of Twice performing, so that means she's at the concert, that's great. I got up and ran to the stylists, and they gave me what I'm gonna wear, so I changed. Then the hair stylist did my hair, but I hope they don't expect this outfit again, because it's comfortable.

Manager unnie gave me a mic, which made me get really nervous. When Twice finished their song, and started talking again, so here goes nothing...

The managers played the song, and you can hear Twice get very confused about it
"Um What?"
"Sorry"
"Excuse me"
"Haha sorry"

I stood up and started to sing. They couldn't see me, but I sang anyway. When I walked on the stage, I saw them turn around, half of them started to cry, the other half started to smile...then cry.

When I finished the song, they ran up to me and gave me a hug, and I swear I almost fell, but now it's onto my 2nd surprise. Time to speak Korean

"I love you all, a lot. Thank you for taking me into your life, and I'll forever be thankful for you"

Their faces are priceless, they couldn't process what just happened, or it was taking a while. Because they understood me, but not in the way they are used to.

Chae: "You speak Korean?"

I nodded and hugged them all. "I spent the past month studying with someone." "Enjoy the concert everyone, and have fun." "See you all backstage"

I walked away before they got a chance to say anything, but when I got back there, I saw all the staff looking at me. Manager unnie scoffed "You made me translate when you knew what they were saying"

I nodded and gave the microphone back "It's nice to hear it in English. Also just because I know Korean, doesn't mean I'll speak it, I'm way more comfortable with English"

I looked at the screen and saw them trying to wipe each other's tears, so it doesn't ruin their makeup. Auntie Nayeon laughed "That was mean, making us cry Y/n"

I laughed, the heard Mina "She has a good voice, don't you agree" The fans cheered, which made me smile

Sana: "This is our first time hearing her sing, she was always too scared, saying she can't sing. That's a lie, but thank you Y/n. Let's continue, shall we Once"

That's how the concert went for me, and when they saw me when they walked backstage, they laughed and thanked me, so it was fun.

Chae's POV:
I heard singing but when we looked around we couldn't see anyone, but we could tell that the singing was live. It was our song, but who was singing? We looked at each other confused, but the spotlight moved and was hitting behind us, so we turned around to see Y/n.

I didn't even get a chance to stop myself from crying, then I saw Mina couldn't either, but when I looked at everyone else, they were all crying as well. She continued to sing, and she has a lovely voice. I tried so hard to stop myself from crying, but it was such a great surprise. When she finished, we all ran and hugged her, and by this time all of us were crying.

She laughed and got her mic ready, I was getting ready to translate "I love you all, a lot. Thank you for taking me into your life, and I'll forever be thankful for you"

I froze, and we all stared at her, she was trying not to laugh, but was failing. I look at her "You speak Korean?"

She nodded and told us twouble be backstage and for Once to enjoy the concert, and left before we had a chance to say anything. We tried our best to calm down and continue. It was the best concert we ever had, and our fans seemed to love it even more. Now, the start of our world tour, it's gonna be something else.
