Life with Twice

Chapter 44

Y/n's POV:
So the New York concert was actually really fun, and even though I wanted to stay backstage, they brought me out so I could have fun with them. I enjoy being backstage more, just because I don't like having all those people staring at me.

At the end of the day, we all went back to the hotel to relax, but Auntie Sana stopped us before we could go to our rooms "We should explore"

Manager unnie shook her head "Not today, but tomorrow you can. Your flight is at 3, you'll be in Chicago around 5. You can explore there a little bit as well"

Sana quietly cheered. I smiled "I'm excited. When do we get to my hometown?"

Auntie Jihyo looked at her calendar "In about 3 days"

I may have cheered, not so quietly, but I was excited so who can blame me. At the hotel, I was looking out the window while mom was watching TV, "So, are you ready to meet my friends, mom?"

I looked at her, and she was nodding "I can't wait" I smiled before looking back out the window. Oh gosh, this is gonna be so crazy. We're always so crazy together. I'm an introvert, but being with my friend always makes me a tiny bit extroverted.

Chicago was a fun place to be, plus the pizza they had there was good. Auntie Sana and Momo had fun shopping together, everyone else shopped in other stores, and I stayed with manager unnie because I hate shopping.

I took a bunch of pictures with Twice, and it shows the memories we got to have together. I forgot to bring my laptop so I can't store my pictures on anything, but that's okay, it can wait.

I've never been to Chicago, so it was honestly really fun up here. I've never mentioned it, but I'm from Texas, it's pretty far from here, but it's not bad. I'm from Dallas, so that was North enough for me.

During the Chicago concert, I danced with Auntie Momo. It wasn't planned, but during rehearsal they were practicing their songs, but me and Auntie were playing around since it was the song we danced to. We were told that we should do it in front of the fans, so we did.

I also had some really good burgers, but for dinner we also ate salads because it's healthy. I guess... Anyways, the airports weren't as crowded, so I enjoyed the not so crowded place.

On the plane I was excited because I was going back to my hometown. It hasn't been a long time like years, but it's been a while and I've missed my friends and do wish I was still with them...but I love Twice.

When we landed in Dallas, I immediately called my friends and told them I was in town. Auntie Jeongyeon and Nayeon had to walk me through the airport since I was too busy looking on my phone. They tied my backpack things to theirs, so I could move without having to look up.

"I can't wait to see my friends..and I guess see my old school"

Mom looked at me "Speaking of school, how's your homework?"

I think about it "It's fine, I just have 1 worksheet and test to do. Then I have to wait until we get back to do the rest"

Mom nodded and continued walking alongside Auntie Mina. We walked to the vans, and got ready to go to the hotel. Auntie Momo looked at me "So what's the best place to eat here?"

I looked up "Whataburger!"

They looked at me like I was crazy, I sighed, "Whataburger is a burger place. It's kinda like a Texas thing, and I miss it a lot."

They nodded and manager unnie looked at me "Okay, then that'll be our lunch I guess" I silently cheered as we drove to the nearest one.

Dahyun's POV:
Y/n seems pretty excited about going to this burger place, but no wonder we have no idea what she's talking about, because we've never seen it or been to Texas.

When we arrived at the place, we walked in and I'll admit, it smelled good. We looked at the menu, got simple orders, and we sat down after getting our drinks. We shared our drinks because dang, these are huge and they aren't even the large sizes.

While we were talking, Y/n was on her phone, I'm gonna guess she was texting her friends. Tzuyu and Chae are having a conversation about something I don't know. Jihyo and Mina are talking about video games on their phones. Jeongyeon and Nayeon are being lovey dovey with each other. Momo and Sana are talking to manager unnie and oppa about the...pool I think. I'm just watching and waiting for our food and surprised to see it's not packed because it's lunchtime right now.

Y/n got on a call, and she's sitting close to me, so I start to show an interest in her call. I guess she saw me because she smiled "Auntie, do you want to listen?"

I shook my head while laughing a little "Who are you on call with?"

She showed me her phone and it just says 'Crazy🤪' so I'm gonna guess it's her friend. I grabbed her phone and smiled "Hello?"

There was a pause "Hello?"

I smiled "So you're crazy huh?"

Y/n took the phone quickly "That was Dahyun, haha. Crazy is your name on my phone" I laughed, then heard our number get called.

We got our food and started to eat, Y/n was off her phone and was enjoying the burger like she hasn't eaten in days. I mean this burger is good and it's great to see everyone enjoy their day here. I can see why Y/n loves this place and misses Dallas. In 2 days, I'll see her friends and catch up to the life Y/n used to have.

"Wow, this is good. Good choice Y/n"

She smiled and swallowed her food, "We should look around, I'll give you a tour of this place"

Chae looked at Y/n "Sure honey, I can't wait to see it"

It's easy to tell that we're all very excited, but the story starts to get a little interesting. After lunch, we refilled our drinks, then left. We went to the hotel first so we could rest a little. I stayed with Tzu and Chae, Y/n was sitting in the corner of the room because she was talking on the phone...with Min.

All 3 of us did a vlive and surprised our fans, so that was fun. Chae wanted to do our makeup, so she did mine, then I did hers. Later we did Tzuyu's, and it turned into a funny makeup vlive. Y/n looked at us and laughed, which made us laugh.

We got ready to leave after a while, which meant all of us had to remove our makeup and apply it again, which made it take a little longer. When that was done, we headed out. She wanted to show us the mall first, and her friends were gonna meet us there, so I guess this was a start.

P.S: I do not live in Dallas, but I have cousins in Dallas
