Chapter Fourteen

"I bet you're not cold?" He asked.

I glanced at my clothes, sobrang basa na ang dress ko. I'm not cold, I have a cold body, baka siya ang lamigin 'pag lumapit pa ako sa kanya. Umahon na rin ako, siya ay kanina pa nakaahon. The water from his hair is dripping down to his face, he licked his lower lip. Napaiwas ako ng tingin at umupo sa medyo malayo sa kanya. He's not wearing his polo, just his short.

"Sa tingin mo lalamigin pa ako?" I said, sarcastically. He chuckled.

"We can stay for a while, I cleared your schedule for today." He said, still staring at the lagoon.

Sa pagkakaalam ko ay may meeting kami ng mga elders mamaya. I sighed, ngayon nalang ulit ako nagiging ganto, may oras gawin ang ibang bagay aside from the responsibilities for Montavilla. I miss car racing, maski sila Carson ay hindi na rin madalas. Lalo na si Dallas, he's always busy for his studies and for the Zaporia.

"You did?"

"Yeah, to have alone time with you." he smirked. Napailing nalang ako.

The birds are chirping, it sounds good to my ear. Ang agos mula sa falls ay sobrang nakaka relax, I could stay here forever. I want to build a rest house here, or mismong bahay ko na.

"When you already have a family, where do you plan to build a house?" I asked him, not knowing the reason why.

Kita ko ang pagsulyap niya lang sa akin, sumilay ang ngiti sa labi niya. He put his hand on his wet hair and pushed it back, bahagya niya pang inayos 'yon. What the hell? I'm mesmerized to his moves.

"You?" He asked back.

I smiled a little before I returned my gaze to the vacant area near the lagoon, patag lang doon at pwedeng pagtayuan ng kahit ano.

"Here. Aside from the palace, I want to live with my own family here. Maybe I can build a rest house, okay lang naman siguro sa inyo diba?" I asked him.

Nag truce naman na kami at nakakatapak na kami sa teritoryo ng isa't isa, wala naman sigurong masama kung magpapatayo ako ng rest house dito diba? Basta pumayag lang rin sila. He shrugged but the smile on his lips never fades.

"I can mention that to the elders later. You owe me for that," he stated.

I raised my eyebrow.

"What do you want again, alpha?" Tanong ko. Masyado ata siyang natuwa nang tawagin ko siya 'alpha' dahil mas lalong lumaki ang ngiti niya. This guy.

"Ask me again, the same question that you asked me earlier."

Humarap siya sa akin kaya inayos ko rin muna ang pagkakaayos ng dress ko sa hita ko bago humarap sa kanya. 

"What question? Kung saan ka titira 'pag nagkapamilya ka na? Saan ba?" Mapaghamon kong tanong sa kanya.

"Here. With you, with our family soon. And you owe me, right? You can pay it back by letting me live with you here, let's make our own family." He smirked.

I pursed my lips to stop myself from smiling pero hindi ko napigilan 'yon kaya natawa si Kaiden, agad ko siya tinalsikan ng tubig. Damn it, I'm blushing in front of him. He's laugh is so damn hot. I didn't know na may gantong side rin pala siya, his lines are so cheesy pero okay lang naman, it made me blush for Pete's sake!

"Come on, Isabela. Stop hiding that you got that 'kilig'," he said, wiggling his eyebrows.

Nag conyo pa. Umiwas nalang ako ng tingin at tinukod ang mga kamay ko sa tuhod ko, humarap nalang ulit ako sa falls at pinanood iyon.
