Don't let me go

I fear for what is come later tonight, the frat boys came back early, they came here late at night, they are going to spend this morning preparing for a fight, out of 20 of them, 16 are 20 and over, Max is one of them, Alpha is allowing him to visit, Max comes by, before training, but he can't stay for long, his mother doesn't want him to go, but he has to, for his pack and home.

Alpha has played it out, I do not reverse out, I go out into the street, cause the driveway would then go through the woods, cause he can't risk me going near those woods, the kids are of course thrilled to have him near, I pull him to the side, 'you'll be careful?, by that I mean you'll stay alive' I say, he smiles, 'I want you to wear this' he says and brings out a ring!, 'oh, Max' I say, 'please' Max says, I nod, he smiles and slips the ring onto my engagement finger!, I kiss him, 'then I guess I better give you something?' 'I have more than enough reasons to come back', I bring his hand to my stomach, ... 'your serious?', I nod, he kisses me, he holds onto my waist, 'I love you' I say, 'I love you' Max says back, Alpha calls us back into the kitchen, he straight away notices the ring, 'congrats' he says, 'thanks' I smile.

Max and Alpha go to the training zone, they go slightly into the woods, and under a hill, there is a building built under it, it's a gym, everyone trains, no one against Alpha, he trains solo, the meeting is at 12, and they'll train for 2 hours, they'll then get cleaned up and build up strength, before heading out, I have the perfect thing prepared, I'm going for a chicken and gravy roll, for Alpha, Max's mother is making him lunch, they have to build up as much strength as possible, most of it comes from how well you are taking care of your body, I honestly am terrified, but I would never show the children that, no matter what, they are going to live a happy and full life.

A young Alpha, just took over his pack about 2 years ago, he's felt a odd connection to this small town, most of the pack has, they are a rather traditional pack, they believe in forgotten wolf cultures, they believe their "Mates" are here, we of course have no idea what that means, but this pack have a very big connection towards this pack, they know what's coming and that a fight is coming, but to keep traditions alive, they are rather strong, so the chances of them all surviving are pretty low, but they have at least 4 dozen wolves going, with a pretty good battle plan, but there are 3 dozen wolves, who are about twice as strong as them, fingers crossed that Alpha and Max come back.

Jason is too young to become Alpha, ... or fatherless, I couldn't bare it, I am trying not to stress or the children will get stressed, I just let them play and be happy, they'll be napping at 1:pm, so I hope it doesn't too long, Max is strong, Alpha is strong, they will come back, we are safe, everything is okay, everything is going to fantastic, nothing to be scared about.

Alpha gets back from training, he has a shower and he has clothes he doesn't care about, but he still looks good, cause he has to be prepared to shift, in case things go bad, I bring the kids down, he eats, I made 2, and he's enjoying them, 'coffee?', he nods, I pour him a cup, ... 'your coming back, right?' I say, Alpha looks at me, 'I hope to, but if not, I have a chest, I put in the car, it'll tell you everything you need to know to raise Jason, understand?', I nod, I start crying, 'Roxanne' he breaths out, I come over and hug him, he'll let me be like, cause he wants things to be good between us, he does kind of fear death, things happened to slowly in his life, he found me, he had grandchildren, he got a heir, 'I also set the GPS, to a town, that you could raise the children in, hopefully no wolf will sense that you do not have a Alpha, when Jason is old enough, I want him to have a happy life, not for it to be ruined by a phycho who's probably going to slaughter the pack!.

Is Roxanne being paranoid or realistic?, will Alpha live on?, will Max live up to his latest promise and marry Roxanne?, or leave her broken hearted once more?.
