Everyone showed up around five that night.

The raining had subsided, but we decided to just stay in. Ironically, Elliot was the first over, even though Brookes lived four houses away.

There had been a knock on the door, and Liam was out buying drinks, so I answered it. He was turned to the side, scratching his neck, universal boy code for being uncomfortable. He wore dark skinny jeans, a gray v-neck (that clung to his muscles and made him look super hot.) a leather jacket and converse. He looked very 'bad boy'.

"You know, I told you to just walk in right?" I asked.

"Oh, Lux. Yeah I know but,"

"You weren't comfortable doing it. You wanted to pick up where we left off? Well you didn't even tell me you would be here before you showed up, fucking the queen bitch so you can at least walk into my house without knocking."

"Noted," I rolled my eyes and walked into the kitchen, sending an alerting text to Brookes.

"This place hasn't changed," he said.

"Since last night? I would hope not," I responded, not looking up from my phone.

"Since I left, smartass," he ran his fingers along the counter tops. I rolled my eyes. I could feel his eyes boring into my side as I texted Brookes like seven more times. He walked over and plucked my phone out of my hand.

"Give it back Elliot."

"I'm good," he started going through my pictures. I walked over and tried to grab it but he just turned around. I tried to reach over his shoulder to get it, but unlike when we were thirteen, he towered an easy seven inches over me. When he left I was taller than him. I pounded on his back but he just laughed. I groaned in defeat.

I wanted my phone back though. I ruffled my hands through my hair, and put on my best poker face. I grabbed his arm and turned him around. I looked up at him in a face my friends called the 'angelic satan' but Elliot had never expirienced. Basically it was a face that I made, where I looked very innocent and sweet, but it usually meant there was going to be trouble. I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and stood up on my tiptoes and whispered breathily into his ear.

"You looks amazing today. Very sexy." I got my face very close to a particular spot on his jawline two inches away from his ear that I knew made him crazy and just hovered there, letting out some hot breath. His eyes glassed over and he tensed up. I backed up and grabbed my phone. "Too fucking easy."

"Smart, using your hotness against me. But I have tricks of my own," he smiled. He pulled off his jacket as I watched. He went to take his shirt off before I realized what he was doing.

"No. Keep it on, I'm not going to be brainwashed!" I shrieked and ran to my living room. I heard his feet pounding behind mine. I felt two arms snatch me up and pin me to the ground. I peeked open my eyes and saw Elliot straddling my legs, holding up my phone victoriously. "You're so mean, you fucking-" that's when Brookes decided to make his appearance.

"Well this is intriguing," he said, chuckling. Elliot stood up and turned around, stunned. I stood up quickly and grabbed my phone back.

"Thanks Brookes!" I said going over and giving him a hug.

"Your welcome, but for what?"

"You helped me get my phone back from Satan, of course." I gestured to Elliot. Brookes laughed.

"Hi I'm Brookes," he held out his hand to Elliot.

"Elliot," he shook it.

"Sorry about Lux's craziness. She went a little insane a couple years because of someone named," he looked at me silently asking me who it was.

"Elliot!" I gestured at Elliot," it was Elliot fucking White, the very boy who stands in front of you this very minute, Brookesy!" I said in mock pep.

"Ohhh," Brookes said. Lyle ran in like a psychopath.

"I NEED FOOD GIVE ME FOOD LENA WOULDNT FEED ME!!"

"Lyle, I'm pretty sure that you are sixteen and can drive yourself," Brookes said.

"Lena and I share a car, you forget? And my parents only have rotting VEGTABLES," he groaned in a drawn out dramatic tone. Lena walked in.

"Lena why didn't you feed your brother?" I asked," you know he has, well, issues," I said making him seem like there was something wrong with him. Then I hushed my tone,"you know he needs his daily dosage of brains!" Lena nodded grimly.

"I love how the party is at my house and my brother is the only one missing," I said. That's when Liam stormed in dancing and singing to Fall Out Boy. I put my face in my palms. We all sat down.

"I officially call this meeting to order!" Brookes yelled over Lyle's chewing. "What are we going to do this fine evening?"

No one knew what to do, so we decided on truth or dare. I ignored the first half and focused on how Elliot had changed since he left.

For one there were the seven inches he gained.

Then he was tanner. When he was here last, his skin was really pale and he had freckles. But now he was tan enough that you had to look hard for his freckles.

His jaw was really sculpted as well. When he left it was rounded, but now his face has slimmed down and made him look like a fucking Abercrombie model.

He also had really defined muscles which made no sense if he was in a hospital bed for most of those four years.

His hair was a lot shorter but it was still clear that it was curly.

Over all, I decided he is super hot now, no doubt all of the girls will be all over him the first day of school. He turned towards me and caught me staring. I blushed at turned away.

Finally it was Elliot's turn.

"Lux," he grinned, "kiss the guy who you think is hottest." I smirked at this. Obviously he knew it was him, but just to spite him, I went over to Brookes, straddled his legs, and kissed him, moving my hair to make sure Elliot had a good view. I pulled away and flipped Elliot off.

Brookes and I had an agreement that that was how it would be played. Every time. He knew there was nothing serious, especially since he was in love with Lena. Plus, Brookes had been the one who taught me to kiss, hence the 'closest friend'. I walked back over to the bean bag I was on.

All my friends were used to this, so they were just talking. Only Elliot was frozen in shock. This was not the girl he had left behind.

The game eventually died down and we ended up watching a movie. Brookes sat by Lena, while Lyle occupied the bean bag. Liam sat on one of the far ends of the couch so I laid my head down in his lap to watch the movie and sprawled out the rest of the couch, my feet resting on Brookes' legs. Elliot took the really comfy recliner.

That's basically how that night went.

The rest of the weekend was super uneventful. Meaning me sitting in my room watching Arrested Development on netflix, and working on my singing.
