This Boy, That Girl

August 11 Just arrived

I would be ecstatic to say that I showed up to college gracefully and made a thousand new friends.

But that is not the case.

Basically, I showed up with puffy, red eyes, my hair was in a matted fuzzy bun. I had on some gray cotton booty shorts and a choir shirt from sophomore year. And uggs. Yup. Uggs.

I wore Black sunglasses to cover the poofyness of my blue eyes. If you didn't gather, I was up crying all night.

Yes I might have handled it well, sort of, but it was hard and I really didn't want to.

"Lux you are going to have to tell me sometime what happened," Lena said, after we checked in.

"I will when I'm ready," I said. It's fucking hot here and I was sweating already.

Fast forward a good twenty minutes when I walked into my dorm room.

My roommate was already there.

She was tall, probably five nine. She had beautiful long auburn waves and green eyes. Her skin was translucent almost and she wore almost no makeup. She had beautiful, well everything.

"Hi! You must be Lux! I'm Zephyr, your roommate. I figured I would wait until you were here to let you choose the bed you wanted!" She smiled.

"Um, I don't really care." I said. The room was completely white. There were two white bookshelves, two white dressers, and two white desks, and two white beds. There was a window above one of the desks. Zephyr set her stuff down on the bed to the right. So I took the left.

"You look totally out of it. Are you okay?" She asked.

"I'm fine. I just went through a breakup with my, well I don't really know what to call him, but it's just really hard."

"Aw I'm sorry. Where does he go to school? I'm assuming it's because of long distance issues?"

"He goes to School in New York."

"Ooh that sucks. I wish I could help but I have literally never had a boyfriend." I turned to stare at her skeptically. She was so beautiful, boys must have been going after her. "Home school." Ohhh.
