Cara's POV:

Past.

It had been two weeks since the first day of classes and Liam and I had been hanging out most of those days. I really enjoyed his company. He was really nice, funny, smart, and not to mention very good looking.

I paced my small apartment debating what to wear. Liam had invited me to a party tonight. I was never one for parties but I really haven't been to one since middle school when we played spin the bottle and I was forced to kiss Tommy Wilfred. Needless to say he was even more of a loser then I was. I kissed him and he tried to stick his tongue down my throat and it was awful. I avoided parties after that in fear that I would be forced to kiss someone again.

But nonetheless here I was obsessing over what to wear. I had no idea what to wear for a party. Do I wear something casual? Formal? I didn't want to ask and sound stupid. But I also didn't want to look stupid.

I walk back towards my closet and look through my clothes again. I find a sweater dress that's not too formal and not to casual. It's already 7:15 and he was coming at 8. I sigh and slip it on. I straighten it out and shrug. I pull on a pair of leggings and then go to the bathroom to brush my teeth.

Once my make up and hair are done I look at myself in the mirror and nod in approval. Hopefully this would do. I was having mixed feelings about tonight. On one hand I was excited, on the other I was nervous as hell. My phone buzzed on my nightstand and I rush over to check it.

Liam: What floor is it again?

Me: Are you here?

Liam: Yes.

Me: Don't worry I'll come down.

I grab my phone and keys. I'm just about to open the door when my phone buzzes again.

Liam: Oh. Are you sure? I can come up.

I smile and lock my door.

Me: Already on my way.

I step onto the elevator and press the floor button. I check my face in my camera once more. I fix my hair and close out the camera right before the doors open. I look up to find Liam standing there. He smiles at me.

"Hey," I say.

"Hello Cara," he greets me as I step up to him. "You look good. I mean you always look good but you still look good today and I'm rambling again. So anyway how was your day?"

"It was good and thank you. You don't look so bad yourself," I laugh and his cheeks turn red. I gesture towards the exit and he nods.

"Ladies first," he says. I start walking and he just runs in front of me to open the door. I thank him and we walk to his car. Again he opens the door for me. He gets in and starts the car. He turns the music low to where its just a noise in the background. I stare out the window as we drive towards the party.

"Are you cold or anything?" he asks. I shake my head.

"No I'm fine. Thanks," I say. It gets quiet again.

"Sorry. I'm just nervous," he blurts out. I give him a confused look.

"Nervous?" I question. "Why are you nervous?"

"Um. I don't know. I just am," he mumbles. I laugh.

"Well don't be. I'm sure it'll be fun," I assure him. He glances at me with a small smile and nods. The rest of the drive is filled with nothing but the soft music playing on the radio. He turns onto a street not to far from the campus and stops in front of a house with about a dozen cars in front.
