i looked at seokjin who had finished eating his lunch. he was patiently watching me eat. "you can leave. you don't have to wait for me. i can walk back to the room on my own", i whispered. he bit his lower lip, "the nurse asked me to make sure that you were not left alone, unattended", he fumbled as eyes twitched. nonsense. the nurse did not tell him that. i was alone in my room the entire day, unattended. "you really can not lie", i spoke. he quickly covered his ears, "i did not lie. those may not be the exact words but she told me to keep an eye one you. now you better not trouble me and hurry up", he groaned. "well, i can't hurry up. i need to chew my food properly or my body might reject it again", i spoke eating slowly. he did not respond but just watched me eat silently. that is, until, a group of boys rushed to our table.

"look at tae. look at him eat so appetizingly. i heard you skipped class because you were sick", jeongmin spoke. i tilt my head, "what is it. what do you want from me", i asked plainly. "i was just here to ask you if you felt healthy", he spoke. "i am okay. alright", i replied quickly. "no you are not. now tell me taehyung, you are about to leave this place so soon, aren't you going to miss it" he asked with a sly smile. "look, i don't know what you are up to but please just leave me alone", i said in hushed tone. "hey. don't worry. i am just here to help you. perhaps extend the detention period by two or three weeks", he smirked glancing at seokjin. i groaned in frustration, "listen. i really don't want to talk to you right now. i am really tired. maybe we can try what ever you want to some other day", i said standing up. "oh, no taehyungie- it will be today. allow me to tell everyone-", jeongmin was interrupted by the other boy. "stop! stop it. he did nothing to you. why are you pushing it", seokjin screamed. jeongmin took a step backwards, "i didn't know pretty boy here could speak. no problem. the more, the merrier. perhaps you could stay here a little longer too." jeongmin snickered. 

"seokjin, don't dirty your mouth by talking to him. let it be. we should just go back", i murmured not wanting to indulge in any act of conflict. seokjin nodded. "not so quick pretty boy. you may want to know our innocent boy's big secret. one that concerns you too kim seokjin", he spoke with sparkling eyes. "i don't need a brat to tell me anything about taehyung. also i don't understand how it is your business. i already know about it and i don't think it has anything to do with you. so please keep your nose out of my plate", seokjin said lightly tapping the boy's chest before i drag him away from the scene leaving jeongmin startled. thank you jinnie. thank you.
