Baekhyun had been waiting to confess.He tried alot of time but backed out at the last minute.He like their friendship but he preferred having more than just that.

Yet he could not be sure.If confessing meant breaking what they already had,Then he would rather not confess at all.

But it was Kai who was going to take the first step...

As soon as Baekhyun stepped inside the cafe,two things stood out.1)Kai and Kyungsoo together,and 2)they were setting awfully close to each other.

Their heads were drawn together as Kai was showing something on his phone.They were laughing,completely oblivious to the world around them.

As if no one exsisted.

I thought.....we're talking alone.

Baekhyun remained rooted on his spot.He could feel people sending him glares as they walk around him but he just could not find the strenght to walk towards his friends.

Kai glancing at his direction,waving at him.The corner of his lips immediately curved up and willed himself to walk even if it felt like his soles were full of lead.Be normal.Act normal.

"Hey," He said nooding at Kyungsoo,staring at their bumping shoulders.

"Sorry,we started eating first.Do you want to order something?"Kai asked.

"Sure"he managed to say through his teeth.

Baekhyun line up ,fending off the fear
that was creeping slowly inside his heart.Don't freak out.Nothing's been set.Not yet.

He force his eyes to keep looking at the menu.He stared at the list untill his eyes felt like they would bleed as if it could
Also burn the image of the scenes he witnessed.

As he returned to their table.He walk as slowly as he can.Whatever Kai was going to say.Baekhyun would not like it.So he would like to hold it off...for as long as he could.

But he arrived at the table sooner than expected.He sat dow on his seat and start to eat his fries,His friends laugh at something he could not comprehend.Baekhyun cleared his throat.

As if noticing him for first time,Kai glance at Baekhyun,eyes twinkling.

"Hey Baekhyun,I have told you,"I Have boyfriend?"

Baekhyun choked on his food but force to make it sound like a laugh.If Kai and Kyungsoo notice,They did not show it in their faces.

"What?" Baekhyun grinned with his eyebrows raised for best effect.

he act like he hearf the worlds best joke
which was not far considering Kai was grinning as well.He acted in the hopes of convingcing himself that it was not true.He acted to dull the pain in his chest.

Kyungsoo bumped into Kai's shoulder,a slight brush,barely noticeable to anyone not paying attention.But Baekhyun concentrated on these two,making subtle movements loud and clear to him.

"Come on,be serious.Look,He already
think's you're joking.

Kai pouted.If Baekhyun was not focus on keeping his heart breaking,He would have thought that the other was cute.But the action of these two were a lot larger than the words being said.

Clearing his troat,Kai turned serious."So yeah like I said I already have a boyfriend....and that's Kyungsoo."

Baekhyun felt like someone dumped a whole bucket of ice water on his body turned cold numb from head to toe.Even his smile froze.

But atleast he retained his smile.That was one thought he was pleased about.

"Wow! really?Congrats!! I never knew that theres something's going on between the two of you."
