Since last night Baek felt like all of his senses went numb,his thoughts blank.In a way,it was good.He could focus well and study without thinking of anything else.He poured all of his efforts into his remaining exams.

Baek wanted to let lose after exam and wished to shake of his mood.Maybe it was a good thing that Chanyeol was not yet back.
His heart was not ready to face his roommate.

He knew that he should be helping around the welcome party Yoora that organizing. After all,he promised to himself that he would help once his exams finished.but the cafe reminded him too much of Chanyeol. Just one look at their uniform,at Yoora's beautiful face that resembled her brother,and the art works hanging on the wall that was all created by Chanyeol.

Drinking then,He could unwind with alcohol.With that in mind,he attempted to reel chen in to join him to drink but his friend went to his part-time job after class.He thought about inviting Kai and kyungsoo.But then he shot down
that idea right away.They would see through him.And even if they did not,they would be lovey-dovey with each other.Baek was not in the mood to act as their third wheel.

Without any other friends Baek went to Exo bar alone.Unlike Baek,most of the students there were happily celebrating for the end of this long week.He picked his usual corner,far from the rowdy patrons.

He sighed inwardly.From one heartache to another.'God job me'He decided right then and there that he would just be a good friend to Chanyeol.He would pot a stop to this madness.

Baek picked up his drink,finish it in one swig.He ordered some more....and more.

"Look who's here!mind if we join you?"A cheerful voice called out behind him.

Baek shut his eyes as if calming himself.Before he could reply,the new comer already took a seat infront of him.He almost had a double-take when he notice the red highlights.

"Rose?.... and kris?"Baek was not sure if he was remembering the other guy's name right.Though he remembered him as Chanyeol's friend.

Kris raised his eyebrow at Baek.
"Alone?"He ask as if he could not believe it.The person beside him,Rose flashed a narrow gazed at Baek and did not say anything else.Atless she seemed less catty to Baek.

He gave a half-hearted shrug.The two let him be and all three of them spent their time in comportable silence.Something Baek was thankful for.

Though if he was being honest,he would be more thankful if he got really drunk.The way he would not be able to see clearly and not watched the coveted glances kris and rose threw at each other.Why was everyone pairing around him?The thought only soured his already sour mood.

Maybe it was because of alcohol.
Or maybe because it was easier to be the one observing people while being oblivious in your feelings.Or maybe he just wanted to be the annoying drunk.So he said in a direct way,"So you two are an item?"

Rose face turned as red as her highlights while Kris guwaffed.

"What,you're jealous that my boyfriend's here?Where's yours anyway?Hanging out with..."Rose stopped as Kris elbowed her.

There was something with their exchange that made Baek want to know what they meant by that. But he thought otherwise and just took another swig.

Rose cleared her throat and point her chin at Baek's phone."You're phone's ringing."

'Chanyeol'

Baek averted his gazed,glancing side ways to another tables as he drunk his drink.pretending he did not hear Rose.He could feel her scowling at him.

"Are you all from the country?"He made sure his tone was light.

The other two exchange glances and Baek was sure that they were thinking that he was fishing for information about the girl.Maybe.Maybe not.But he was still careful as he trod carefully.

He yawned and wave his hand in a dismissive manner."The view seems lovely over there.I saw Chanyeol's paintings."

That got their attention and lowered their guard.

"He already showed you his paintings?He really did that?Rose eyes were big and wide.It surprissed Baek to see a none scowling look from her.

The corne of Baek's lips twitched.
"Yeah,what about it?They're lovely."

Rose snorted."Lucky man.
Chanyeol hadn't shown his paintings to everyone since that b--,"Kris shot her a look which made her roll her eyes."Fine,how else would you discribe her though?Anyway,as I was saying,we almost thought he stopped painting.She used to say that there's no merit in art and even downright told him that he sucked at it."

"Kris smirked."I'm pretty sure that she didn't phrase it that way."

"She jealous because Chanyeol draws better than her even if she started way before him."Rose downed he drink in one gulp.

"He's posting his paintings at the cafe though?"Baek asked.

That because of his sister.He was--whats the term?Comission?I think that's it,comissioned by her brother.Kris replied.

After a while,Baek excused himself to go to the toilet.He came back and they picked up where they left off.

"There you are."

"Baek's heart skipped a beat when he heard the voice of the new comer.He turned around and to his dismay,his chest thudded even louder as he stared at Chanyeol
who looked like he ran all the way to the bar.

Kris stood up and clapped Chanyeol at the shoulder."You're back."

Baek did not miss the apologetic smile.Kris sent to his derection and those evasive eyes of Rose.They certainly did something when he was gone.

Chanyeol smiled sheepishly as he glance at his friends before fixing his gaze back at Baek."I was wondering where you were since you were not at home."

Baek stared dumbly at him,he could not seem to take his eyes off to that familiar and irritatingly handsome face.He did not understand the charm before bit now he did.He had to force himself to blink.
