CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE

After the super long snowball fight on the grounds, the six of them were freezing as snow had made it down into their clothes. They trudged back into the castle and into Gryffindor Tower, changed out of the warm clothing, and went back down to the common room to relax in front of the roaring fire. Fred, Angelina, Alicia, and Lee had managed to fall asleep fairly quickly as the snowball fight had taken all of the energy out of them. Olivia and George were pretty close to dozing off as well until Olivia sat up straight and stretched.

"I could really use a hot shower right about now," she said with a yawn. "Or a bath. I don't really care as long as it's hot."

"Mind if I join you?" George asked with a cheeky grin. Olivia turned and raised her eyebrows at him. "I just mean, it's been a minute since I've been in the prefects' bathroom and I miss it."

"It is magnificent."

"That it is. So?"

Olivia looked at their friends, all still fast asleep. She turned back to George and grinned. "All right. Come on."

They snuck past their sleeping friends and out of the common room as quietly as they could. The sound of the portrait hole opening and closing made Fred stir from his sleep. As he opened his eyes, he quickly saw that his brother and Olivia were gone.

"Where'd they go?" he asked mostly himself.

"Who cares?" Angelina asked sleepily.

A few minutes later, George and Olivia had made it to the entrance of the prefects' bathroom. Olivia was just about to give the password to allow them entry when the entryway opened and they were faced with Alexander.

"Oh!" he said upon seeing not only Olivia but George, who was definitely not a prefect. A grin appeared on his face, knowing what was happening. "Don't worry, I'm not going to ask," he said as he began to walk away.

"Thank you," Olivia said, her face reddening in embarrassment.

"Have fun," Alexander teased.

"Oh we will," George answered, that same cheeky grin on his face from earlier.

Olivia gave him a look. "I cannot believe you just said that," she said. "You're going to end up getting me in so much trouble someday."

"And you'll talk your way out of it like you always do. Now come on, give the password. Let's not wait around for someone else to interrupt us."

"You realize there are so many prefects in this school, right? And the Quidditch Captains have access to this bathroom as well? The chances of us getting interrupted are so high it's scary."

"Guess we'll have to make it quick then. Go on."

Olivia just continued to stare at him in disbelief for a few moments before giving the password to the bathroom with a smile on her face.

A half hour later, the two of them re-entered the common room, their hair damp and their faces flushed. Fred and Angelina turned around in their seats immediately upon hearing the portrait hole open.

"Well, well, well," Fred said, a knowing grin slowly making its way onto his face, "what do we have here?"

"Where have you two been?" Angelina asked with the same grin as her boyfriend.
