"Let's go. His waiting" basag ni Lance sa katahimikan.

Unable to speak, I nod my head.

Nakahawak siya sa kabilang balikat ko bilang alalay at tahimik kaming naglakad.

"I think you two really need to talk"

"P-paano naman yun? A-ako lalapit sa kanya? A-ayaw ko nga!" Reklamo ko.

"Scarlet, you know boss. It's not his nature to talk about any problems so better you approach him" mahinahong sabi niya.

"Lalo naman ako! A-ayaw ko Lance... I-ikaw na lang kaya?" Suhestiyon ko.

Napatigil siya sa paglakad at dahil nakaalalay siya saken ay natigil din ako. Napatingin ako sa kanya na kunot ang noo'ng nakatingin na saken. Ngumuso ako.

"Ano?"

"Scarlet problema niyo yan at hindi makakatulong ang ibang tao para magkaayos kayo. Maaaring matulungan kita sa kung ano ang pwede mong gawin pero hindi ako o nino man ang makakaresolba ng problema niyo" pangaral niya.

Ganun ba 'yon? Tsk!

"Eh... Ayaw ko nga kasi Lance" giit ko.

"That's it!" He exclaimed.

"Huh?"

"Kaya hindi kayo magkaitindihan dahil diyan sa pride niyo eh! Why not forget about your pride and think about your problem first?" Inis niyang tanong saken.

I wanted to speak but what I only did was opened my mouth and closed immediately as I run out of words. Perhaps, he's right. The only thing that keeping me to not approach Phoenix's first is my pride. Ako ang galit tapos ako pa ang pupunta sa kanya para magusap, that's a big deal! And one more thing, his the man here, not me! It should be him who approach me to talk about our problem and not me! Pero ayun siya at inunahan pa ako sa pagwalk-out! His also prideful!

Why not he just approach me and apologize? Aysh! This pride is really a hindrance!

"H-hatid mo nalang ako sa kanya Lance" I whispered enough for him to hear me.

Nagpatuloy kami sa paglalakad hanggang sa matanaw namin ang pamilyar na itim na sasakyan. It was tainted that's why I can't see who's inside of it but my heart is booming so hard and beating so fast make my guess right. How ironic that my heart acknowledge him even if his distant and nowhere to be seen.

We stopped right at the front door where he is.

"Hanggang dito nalang ako, Scarlet" bulong ni Lance, nilingon ko siya na may pagmamakaawa na wag muna siyang umalis pero inilingan niya lang ako. "Ayusin niyo yan. Pati kasi kami maapektuhan panigurado niyan" pagbibiro niya pa.

Dismayadong tinanguan ko nalang siya. Bago siya umalis ay kinatok niya ang bintana.

It's like everything was in slow motion as I followed the moves of the window that is slowly rolled down and appeared in my sight is the handsome yet emotionless face of Phoenix!

He starred at me blankly. While, I'm here standing with my legs shaking and become jelly but still managed to make me stand straight. My throat run dry and my heart beating so erotically making me hard to breath but at the same time is keeping me in reality.

"Why are you still standing there?"

I almost jump as he spoke in his very icily yet stern voice.
