-You're Sick-

Ellie woke up to a loud noise coming from just outside the bedroom.

She sat up and rubbed her eyes, waiting a few seconds for them to readjust to the darkness of the room. Glancing over to the digital clock that sat upon the rooms dresser she sighs. It was half past three.

She moved her hand over to your side of the bed, expecting to feel the warmth of your body, but when she felt nothing but cold sheets beneath her fingers she grew confused, however, when she heard the same noise once again, everything clicked in her mind.

Rushing out of bed and out into the hall she comes up to the bathroom. The door is closed but she can tell you're in there as the sound of you vomiting emits from the other side. She tries the doorknob and when she realizes its unlocked she swings it open and steps into the room.

She knelt beside you and grasped your hair in her hand while she rubbed your back.

"It's okay, get it all out, y/n. I'm right here." she whispered, soothingly rubbing your back and shoulders hoping to comfort you as you continued to be sick.

When you were done emptying your stomach you flushed the toilet and leaned back into Ellie's embrace, head resting upon her shoulder as you took deep breaths.

Ellie rubbed your back and rested her head on yours "You okay?." you shrug and let a whine fall past your lips from how sick you felt. You heard Ellie sadly sigh and felt her cold hand rest upon your warm forehead causing a sigh of slight relief to fall from your lips.

"You've got a fever, babe. We gotta get you back to bed, think you can walk?." you shrug "I don't know if I can on my own." "That's okay I'll help you. Lets rinse your mouth out first then get you to bed."

As you rinsed your mouth out Ellie held you by the waist, helping you stand on your shaky legs before helping you back into bed where she tucked you in and pressed a kiss to your forehead.

"I'm gonna go grab a few things for you okay?. I'll be back." you nodded sleepily and let your eyes close as Ellie walked out of the room.

Grabbing some water for you Ellie made her way back into the room. She placed the water on the nightstand beside you then moved a smaller trashcan beside you just in case you got sick again later in the night.

"Do you need anything else like a blanket or maybe a cool cloth?."

Opening your eyes you looked to Ellie and shook your head "Just want some cuddles." Ellie smiles and nods, pressing a kiss to your cheek before walking to her side and getting back in. Once Ellie is comfortable you cuddle into her side, head resting on her chest as she wrapped her arms around you.

Her fingers trailed up and down your back as you curled further into her and pulled the blankets up to your shoulders.

"You get some sleep. I'll be right here if you need me."

You nod and let your half lidded eyes fall closed as Ellie starts to sing softly in your ears, slowly lulling you to sleep.

"Thanks for taking care of me. Love you." you mutter sleepily into the fabric of her tank top. Ellie smiles and tugs you closer to her, being gentle so she wouldn't make you feel worse than what you already felt.

"I'll always take care of you, babe. I love you too now get some sleep and feel better soon."
