What had only meant to be an hour long supply run, turned into a three hour long supply run. The once bright blue sky was now littered with dark grey clouds and the once warm weather was now freezing cold.

The storm had caught you, Ellie and Dina off guard. When you left early this afternoon, the sky was bright, not a single cloud to be seen, but now that time had passed and the day was coming to an end, a storm was setting in.

"In here!"

Ellie and Dina followed after you quickly as you rushed towards a large abandoned building. 

Thunder roared above you as lighting crashed on the ground. Rain poured down upon you heavily, soaking your clothes completely and blurring your vision as it fell with so much force.

"Quick, it's fucking cold!"

Ellie chuckles as she passes you, helping you close the door behind everyone once you were all inside.

A shiver ran through your body as you looked around the dark room, flashlight in hand.

"What is this place?" you question, watching as a cloud of your breath fans in front of you "I think its an old store?" Dina speaks, you nod and continue to search the building.

"If we're gonna stay here till the storm calms, we should secure the building. I don't want anything sneaking up on us." you nod in agreement with Ellie and walk over to her, pressing a kiss to her cheek before walking further into the old store.

"C'mon, it'll be better if we all go together." Dina and Ellie nod, following after you.

"Damn, this place is ransacked. The hell happened here?"

Shelves were toppled over, slightly slanting against old cash registers that were littered with trash and old groceries.

For a few minutes you,Ellie and Dina all trek through the old store. Nothings seems out of the ordinary, but as you all walk further into the store, the flooring grows weaker and noises fill the air.

You stop walking and listen in to the strange noises. The more time you spend listening to the noises, the more you start to realize what it is.

Clicking emits from somewhere in the far back of the store, loud growls and screeches following soon after.

"Do you guys hear that?"

Dina and Ellie look to one another then look back to you, shaking their heads "We don't hear anything. Maybe it's just the rain." you shake your head "No, no it's definitely not the rain." 

Ellie steps forward so shes standing right beside you "You don't hear that?" Ellie shakes her head "I don't hear anything, babe." you sigh and look towards the back of the store "I swear I could hear-" a loud boom echoes throughout the store before you can finish your sentence. You turn to look where the sound came from and find a nervous Dina.

"Sorry, I didn't see the box there."

Just as she finishes her sentence, the clicking,screeching and growling comes back, only this time its followed by heavy footsteps.
