Lauren

Oh great, city boy helping set up a rodeo, this oughta go well. We hop in my truck and drive back to the ranch.

"So what exactly am I gonna be helping with?" Alex asks

"Well, I got a guy trainin' for tonight, I gotta saddle up, and you need a new outfit," I reply

"Why do I need a new outfit?" He asks

I let out a laugh and kill the truck.

"You don't wanna get your Gucci shoes dirty, do you." I laugh

My eyes roam the ranch, looking at everyone working on setting up, cooking, practicing. I keep looking until I spot my favorite cousin and his small little family. I walk over to Jack, Tyler, and Alisha.

"Hey, guys." I smile

Tyler makes grabby hands at me and Alisha hands him over.

"Hey," Jack says and hugs me gently

"It's good to see you again," Alisha tells me

I glance behind me and see Alex glaring at the dust while tryin' to fan it away.

"You're both ridin' tonight right?" I ask

"Yeah, which means you're stuck with this cutie until we go home." Jack smiles

"Hey, who's that?" Alisha asks pointing at Alex

"New neighbor, he's from Chicago, I need to get saddled up and get him into something else," I say

"I do have a request though," Jack says

"What?" I ask

"When you're ridin' through with the flag while the National Anthem is playing, take Tyler with you." He says

"I can do that," I say

I walk back over to Alex with Tyler perched on my hip.

"Alright inside," I say and usher city boy inside

We walk into the house to find Josh and some of our other guys getting dressed.

"Get this kid into something proper." I sigh.

"Got it girly," Mack tells me
