Alex

So my friends from Chicago are coming down for the week. I wake up and get in the shower and then get dressed for my day. I walk downstairs to find my friends sitting on the couch in the living room.

"Dude, you live in the middle of nowhere," Jack says

"I know, but I like it here," I tell them

"Really, because when you first moved, you hated here." Max peaks up

"Anyways, there's someone I want you to meet," I say with a smile

"Is she cute?" Luke questions

"Yeah," I respond standing up

"Come on," I add

My three friends stand up and follow me outside.

Lauren

I wake up and hop in the shower. I wash my hair, face, and shave before getting out and getting dressed.

I don't have a lot of time to get work done today because my friends and I are going to a rodeo tonight a few towns over and I'm ridin' with the flag again

I don't have a lot of time to get work done today because my friends and I are going to a rodeo tonight a few towns over and I'm ridin' with the flag again. I get downstairs and open the fridge when I hear the front door open. I don't bother turning around because I wanna scare the shit out of Alex. I feel his hands on my waist and I spin him around and pin his arm to his back with his stomach to the counter.

"Ow ow ow ow." Alex groans

I look up and see three other guys. I smile and go back to Alex.

"Now what have I said about sneaking up on me," I growl

"To not do it." He groans

"Exactly, now who are these people?" I ask semi nicely

"Oh-" My phone ringing cuts Alex off

I answer my phone and it's the principal.

"Yeah," I say into the phone

"Hey, we're planning everything for the homecoming parade and dance here on September 25th and I was wondering if your guys could pull the football team this year?" Principal Daniels asks

"I mean yeah, but can I ride on the trailer with them this year," I respond

"Sure, thanks, Lauren." Principal Daniels says

"No problem,"  I reply and hang up

"Please continue." I smile

"These are my friends from Chicago, Jack, Max, and Luke, guys this is Lauren," Alex says doing introductions

"We're gonna be here until next Saturday." Max, I think tells me

"Great, there's a rodeo a few towns over tonight and I'm ridin' out with the flag and all of my friends are goin' if you wanna come we roll out at four," I say

"I'm gonna assume your driving." Alex smiles

"Well, no one drives my truck and trailer except me," I say a little rudely

"I wanna go." The three others say together

"Great, but you're not goin' like that," I say and walk away
