Lauren
It's now 6 o'clock and people have started arriving for the rodeo. Just when I thought everything was going well, my least favorite person showed up.
"Well well well, if it isn't little Lauren." Mathew Hummer smirks
"What the hell are you doin' here?" I ask
"I'm here for what's mine," Mathew growls
"No, your parents put that horse in an auction and we won it." I snarl
"Well, I want her back." Mathew curls his fist
And he punches me, then there's a slap. I yell for Chris and Jamie, it doesn't take the pair long to show up.
Chris
As soon as I hear Lauren yell, I take off running. Jamie and I find Mathew Hummer when we reach the scene and he's beating on Lauren. It takes both Jamie and I to pull Mathew off of Lauren. Once we get the situation under control, I call the police while Jamie gets Lauren some ice.
"You need to stop getting into fights," I tell Lauren
"And he needs to stop trying to take back Dolly," Lauren says through gritted teeth
"Lauren, oh my god what happened!" Lizzy exclaims
"Just got into a bit of a scuffle." Lauren winces
"Yeah right, it's time for the best part of the night and Alex is waiting for you." Lizzy smiles
Alex
Lauren walks up to me and the first thing I notice is her bruised face.
"What happened?" I ask, genuinely concerned
"Nothin' now my cousin's about to propose in front of over a hundred people," Lauren says quietly
Jack
This is it, it's time to ask the love of my life to marry me, I hope she says yes.
"And now we have a very special surprise for one of our own." Mayor Blake announces
"Alisha Marks, will you make me the happiest man on this earth and marry me?" I ask into the microphone
"Yes!" Alisha says from next to me
I slid the ring on her finger and we kiss.
"Hey Lauren, be my maid of honor?" Alisha asks as she meets us at the gate
"Of course." Lauren smiles
