Forever Hopeless

memories too painful

A year ago today my parents disappeared. No one knows what happened to them and they still don't. Calum ,my older brother, keeps telling me that there coming back...but I know they aren't. So lately I've been hanging around the druggies and troublemakers or so they are called at school. Calum dosn't know and if he did he would be pissed off as hell. He has been so protective since mom and dad left and I'm getting the feeling he knows they aren't coming back either. Its almost summer and the boys are going on some sort of vacation and they want me to come but I'm planning on staying home. Ever since about two years ago calum has been at his band thing and I don't really understand why.  ya its cool and fun but he threw away a football scholarship for them. They arnt bad though...there's one who I think is a little more badass than the others but other than that I'm not that interested. Calum has been leaving the house pretty early in the morning and coming back in the late afternoon.  I'm not sure where he has been going. I'm guessing he has been doing something with his band, till today when he came home a little earlier than the past few days.

  "Sam, are you home?" Calum shouted as he walked into the house.

  " I'm in here." I said sitting on the couch.

Calum walked into the room.

  " Hey can I talk to you?"

  "Um...ya ...is everything ok?"

  "I'm not sure..." Calum sad down and looked at me. "So...you know how mum and dad..went missing last year?"

  "Yes what about it?"

I could see Calum start to tear up.

  "The past few days. I've been going to the court. They...said-" a tear rolled down his face and I began to get worried. He never cried and when he did it was serious. "They found mum and dad."

  "Well that's great!" Calum shook his head cried harder. As I got a little more worried I began to cry as well.

  "Calum tell me whats wrong?"  

  "They...are dead." It may not have seemed like having them gone effected my but it did that's why I have need hanging out people who are lower than me. I jumped up and screamed.

  "Nooo! Nnooo! There alive ! They are coming back like you told me !! They found someone else its not them!" I screamed as I ran to my room. I slammed the door and fell to the ground.
