Forever Hopeless

Just run

 I ran after Ashton but he had gotten in his car and started to drive away. As much as i didnt want to, i began to cry. I let tear after tear fall down my cheek. I turned around and leaned up against the open door frame and slid down ending up in the pile of scattered roses on the floor. I dug my face into my folded arms. Michael walked up to me and tried to confort me but i brushed him away. He walked away upset and confused. I sat there for what had seemed like hours but it was only 30 minutes. I looked up when I heard the front door open. Calum and Luke walked in.

  "Hey guys what's...up..." Luke said walking toward me. I shoved my face back into my arms so he wouldn't see the makeup running down my cheeks. "Hey are you alright Sam?" He said as he sat next to me in the pile of roses.

I was tired of everybody asking if I was ok. I mean I wasn't but it still was getting annoying. So I shook my head no hoping he wouldn't ask why.

  "Why what's wrong?" I shook my head again knowing he was going to keep bothering me. Calum walked over to Michael with his eyes on me.

  "What's wrong? You were here the whole time right?"

  "Ya she just...I kinda...we..." I lifted my head and looked at Michael. "Kissed" at that word everyone froze. I could hear Luke's breath change pattern. Calum was looking at Michael with furious eyes.

  "You what?"

  "Ya well she just-" luke cut him off before he could say anything.

  "Can't you see she is upset?" He stood up. "Did you even try to make her feel better? Clearly not. What did you do to make her so upset!" His voice was getting louder. Everyone in the room was confused why he was being so protective.

  "You don't have to be getting into anybody's business!" Michael shouted at luke.

  "You said you were going to stay here to make sure she was ok and clearly she isn't ! She is anything but ok. You clearly hurt her! Michael how-"

  "Shut up! Its not my fault!I didn't know that kissing her would make her cry!"

  As the two faught calum sat watching. I couldn't take it anymore. I ran out the door and kept running. I was still crying so I was barely able to see anything. I ran and ran and didn't look back. It was getting dark so it made it harder for me to see. The road ended but I kept running. Through trees and bushes, some with thorns that cust me as I went by. I couldn't see still so when I fell I wasn't sure where I was. I looked up and tried to see where I was by wiping my years away. I was in sand. There was a small trickling sound nearby. It was a stream. It was a miniature paradise. I was surrounded by trees and plants. I looked down at my legs and noticed my pants were ripped. I got up and went to the stream and dipped my hand in. I started to clean the cuts on my body. After sitting by the water I remembered Ashton's face when he saw us which made me start to cry. It was almost completely dark  and I didn't know where I was. Remembering Ashton suddenly made me not want to be here anymore. So I got up and tried to find my way out of the trees but I couldn't so I began to cry harder. I eventually gave up on trying and fell to the ground. It was fully dark now and I couldn't see anything. I sat on the grassy ground and cried.

  Calum's POV

 

  I was starting to get annoyed. Both Michael and Luke were still fighting. I looked over to see if Sam was alright my my heart stopped when I realized she wasn't there. Luke looked at my terrified face then looked over at the empty door way.

  "Where did Sam go?" Michael said seeing she wasn't there.

  " don't know I didn't see her go upstairs!" My voice was frantic and getting shaky.

  "She must have- ran...off..." Luke said walking to the door and looking out. I started to walk around frantically.

  "Calum calm down I'm sure she's fine."

  "No she ran off because you two were fighting about her! Now she is gone! I may never see her again! Want if she got hit my a car or kidnapped!?" I began to get short breaths and wattery eyes.

  "Calum it will be alright. I'm sure she is fine." Luke swung his head and glared at michael.

Sam's POV

I screamed when I felt something crawl on my arm. I jumped up and started to run. I was running with my eyes closed because I was too afraid to open them. I tripped over something and fell hitting my head on asphalt. I opened my eyes but all I saw was black. I reached up and touched my forehead and felt something warm and wet. My hand fell the the ground and I passed out.

 
Calums POV

  An hour later of waiting I heard the phone ring. I jumped up and answered

  "Sam!!?"

  "Wait...what!!"

  "Ok yes we will be right there!"

I hung up and ran to the front door

  "Guys come on sam is in the hospital!" I got the keys and rushed to the car while the others followed. I was driving over the speed limit but I didn't care. When I got to the hospital I didn't bother to park, or take the keys out. I ran inside and went to a desk.

  " I'm here where is she!?"

"Sir I need you to tell me who you are looking for." The nurse said calmly.

  "My sister Samantha hood."

She typed something then looked back at me.

  " ok yes she came in a while ago right this way." She led me down a hall and past some doctors who were crowding a patient. I looked through them and saw sam.

  " SAM!! Sam I'm right here!" I pushed the doctors aside and looked at sam. Her forehead was bleeding a lot and she looked scratched up badly.

  "Sir I need you to get back."

  "No she's my sister I can't let her go!" I felt people pulling me back . when I looked back I saw Luke and Michael. I looked back at Sam. The doctors had pushed her into an emergency room. The nurse took my arm.

  "Sir let's go sit down."

 

  Sam's POV

 

  I woke up and didn't know where I was. I panicked when I saw I was in a strange room. Then I looked down and saw tubes and other things hooked to me. I looked around and saw a nurse.

  "There you are. You have been sleeping for a while."

  "Where is Calum?" I sat up and tried to take everything hooked up to me off. But the nurse rushed over and made me lay back down.

  " honey you need to stay laying down."

   "No I need to find calum!" The door opened and calum walked in along with Luke and Michael.

  "Sam!" He rushed over to me and hugged me. "I'm so glad you are alright." 

  "Calum I'm so sorry I just"

  "Its alright. No more fighting I promise." Let me go  and sat on the bed. I looked around and noticed Ashton wasnt here. My smile faded and I looked down.

  "Are you alright?" Michael asked.

Calum shot a look at him then looked back at me.

  "Ya...I guess."

____a few days later_____

The next day I was able to go home. On the drive home I sat in the front while cal drove.

  "Hey so you are coming with us for the vacation thing right?" There was nobody else in the car except us. They drove themselves.

  "I don't know if I want to go."

  "I don't want you to get hurt anymore. And with that I don't want you dating, or going out with any of the guys."

  I stopped talking and started to look out the window.

  "Did you hear me?" I nodded and tried not to think of Ashton but I couldn't help it.
