Chapter 36

(Y/n)'s Pov~

I sat up and observe the place I'm in. I wasn't with Zane and a few other men, I wasn't wearing the dress that I was wearing. I was wearing a hospital dress.  Removing the blanket and set my feet on the cold floor, I stand on my feet and suddenly I fell to the floor.

I tried getting back up but my legs felt weak and wobbly. Someone bust in my door. "(Y/n) you shouldn't be standing." A woman said. Who's (Y/n)? Why does it sound familiar? I know I heard it multiple times. "Who's (Y/n)?" I questioned the hospital lady who's helping me get up. She had a shocked face. "I'll come back in a bit. Is there anything you like to eat? Oh and one more thing, what's your name?" Sweat appears on her face when she asks the last question. Nothing came in.

I don't know my name, my birthday if I have a family, what I dreamed to become, or what I loved. Mainly I was stress to find my own name. "It's ok." The woman pulls out something from the nightstand. "It lunch already so here is the list of food and beverages." The lady leaves me scanning their list of food, nothing seems good to me. 'Where is, Zane?'

I gasped and called out the name that I know but I don't know when and where I have met him. "Zane?!" Of course, he wouldn't be here in the room with me. Someone knocks on the door before entering. "Hello, my name is Dr. Jenkins." Dr. Jenkins greets me. He pulls out a rolling chair in front of me. That looks fun. "Have you found anything you would like to eat?" I respond with a, "no, "

"Do you know any of the food." He raises his eyebrow. "Hmm, I think (f/f) and- wait, what is that?" I questioned myself. He writes something down so fast like lightning speed. "I'll be right back." And again I was alone.

The door opens again and it was Dr. Jenkins. "Alright, I'll ask you a few questions." He sat down where he last sat.

"Do you know your name?"

"No."

"Last name?"

"No."

"Do you know any names?"

"Yes."

"Who?" There was a small hope in his voice.

"Zane, "

"Who is he?"

"I don't know, but... I feel like he's always there."

"Hm. Anyone else?"

I scanned through my head that's when my head starts to hurt. "Ow, " Dr. Jenkins notice my pain. "We'll come back. Your food will come in a moment." Dr. Jenkins put the chair back to where he had grabbed. The nurse that I saw first came in. "Do you need to go tinkle?"

"Tinkle?" I gave her a weird look. "Do you need to go potty?"

"Potty?" She seems frustrated with me. "Do you need to use the toilet?"

"Toi-...-let?" She sighs. "You're not messing around with me, are you?" She pinches the bridge of her nose. "What's a toilet." I questioned her. It looked like she was trying to hold in her laugh but she also had a worried look. "Do-o you need to pee?" This time I understood her.

"Oh, yeah." She helps me out of the bed and to the other door. She opens it, and I looked at it amazed. "Wow, what is this place?" The nurse giggles at my action. "Um, hon. Do you know what I'm doing?" There are so many questions. "I forgot where I'm at." The nurse leads to this white thing with a big circle and it had a hole with water.

"Go on, sit." I turn to her with a scarred face. "It's not gonna eat me, right?" She giggles. "No, hon."

The nurse helps me sit on the seat with a big hole.

Time skip~

Someone brought me a pizza with a side of fries and water. I later finished eating my lunch and soon Dr. Jenkins came back and he resumes the questions.

"Alright, do you know your age?"

"No."

"Ok, do you know what's a toilet?"

"What is that? It sounds like you can play with it."

"Do you know why you're here?"

"No."

"Are you sure you don't know anyone, except Zane?"

"Actually, I forgot what this person's name. I keep on seeing him a lot and I don't remember where I have met him."

The old man writes stuff down. "We're done." He looks at me from something. "Would you like to go outside?" I had to process what he said. "Yup."

"I'll go ask someone to take you." He leaves me again.

Adam's Pov~

My family had been gloomy since the incident of my sister's birthday. It was pretty difficult for my siblings and their friends. They were all so close. My phone vibrates on my pants. "Hello?"

"Hi is this Adam (L/n)?"

"Yes, and I'm thinking your Dr. Jenkins. The one I ask to take care of my sister. How is she? Had something bad happen to her?" I questioned the old man. "Let's say there are three things I need to tell you." Dr. Jenkins started to list off. "One; she won't die in four months from her fracture skull, which is a miracle, " My body trembled from hearing the good news. "Adam, are you alright?" Jenkins asks through the phone. "Yeah, yeah, I'm just shocked and happy. Please proceed." My siblings came, except for Daniel.

They boomed me with questions and I had to quickly shoosh them. I set my phone on the speaker. "Let's see, where was I, oh yes. Two; she's awake." It was my younger siblings turn to tremble in shock and happiness. "I'm not sure if you're ready for the third and I don't think your family will be able to handle the last question. Would you still like me to proceed?" My sibling's attention we're on my phone. 'The third is probably worse.' I turned off my speaker and put my phone back to my ear.

"No." They complained and I shooshed them again. "Keep going."

"Are you sure." I gulp at my decision. "Y-yes, " I stuttered my answer. "The third and last is that (Y/n) lost some what of her memories, but one."

"And what's that?" I questioned the old man. "A boy named Zane. Is there any chance you know him." I took me long to answer. Dr. Jenkins calls me many times, without me noticing. "Adam, are you alright? Adam? Adam." I'm still in my dazed and finally listen and speak back to him. "Oh, yes sorry. And I do know him."
