C~22: You Can Stop

No one's P.O.V

Sam carries Evangeline and places her on her bed, Carlisle quickly kneels checking her veins on her wrist and ankles, any place with easy access to a pulse. Sam steps back, waiting for Carlisle's orders.

"Sam, I need Seth and Jasper let in here."

Following the orders he lets them in, Seth quickly rushes to the bedside while Jasper just stands to stare. "What's wrong?" asks Seth. Carlisle points to the bite on Eve's neck. "This morning, Riley bit her for how long?"

"Maybe three seconds?" reports Seth. Carlisle sigh, "That's still enough time to inject venom not much but enough with time to spread throughout the body."

"Throughout the body? You're saying it's already in her system?" asks Jasper. Seth bites his lip, "Wasn't Bella bit? What did you do then?"

"Edward sucked out the venom, but with Eve we would have to extract it from multiple points," Carlisle explains. Seth begins digging through his medical bag, finding three syringes, each with filters.

"Will this work?" asks Seth.

Carlisle nods, "Perfect, actually."

"What are they?" inquires Sam.

"I made these for Bella if for during her transformation she would want to back out, they only suck out the venom," he says as Seth hands him one and hands the other to Sam. Carlisle points out the points in which the three need to inject and suck out the venom.

"Jasper, you're gonna have to suck out the venom from the bite source," commands Carlisle. Jasper tenses up, "You said there weren't any more needles."

"There aren't you're gonna have to suck it out directly." describes Carlisle. Shaking his head, Jasper steps back, he knew he was still struggling with containing himself on animal blood. Sam look at Jasper growling "Listen, Major, if you really like E I technically can't hurt you, but if you let her die or become like you my fangs will be the last thing you see!-"

"SAM!" shouts Seth getting everyone's attention. "Jasper, I love her, she's like a better sister then Leah and I can't lose that. Please."

"Jasper, think about how much it took to find someone like Eve. If you love her, you can stop." reasons Carlisle. Jasper looks to the pleading faces and then to Eve's, unlike Bella, she didn't want this life.

Taking a breath, Jasper nods and moves over to the side of her.

Carlisle wasn't playing around with any of this, Eve gave him the feeling of raising a daughter, and he didn't want to let that go "Now!" he shouts as he, Sam, and Seth plunge the syringes into specific areas.

Jasper leans down and gulps before biting into her neck, the previous bites making a target for him. Of course, while trying to get the venom blood trickles in, Jasper grasps onto her shoulder, his eyes turning black.

He had never tasted anything like this before, sweet yet savory, chilling, and intoxicating for a human. Carlisle and the others pull out, syringes full of venom "Jasper?" ask Seth. But Jasper was into much of a frenzy to pay attention.

"Damn it, he's gonna kill her!" shouts Sam; Carlisle holds a hand out, holding him back "Jasper has to stop on his own!"

In Jasper's mind, the world was clouded, he hadn't tasted human blood in so long and to have such sweet blood too. Eve begins to groan in her unconscious as if reliving the events before passing out, "D-don't...hurt him...Jasper."

Hearing this, Jasper's able to let go and back off, he wipes his mouth. Carlisle puts a hand on his shoulder "I'll clean up here, thank you all."

Jasper looks to Eve one last time before Sam puts a hand on his shoulder. "You can stay in the morning. You've shown me how much you care for her," he says, struggling to get out the words of approval. Jasper nods his thanks, and all the rest the others can do is wait till morning.
