C~23: Camp Soul

Okay, Expect maybe one thing.

"Summer camp?" asks Bella through the phone. I nod arms on my knees as I sit on the curve of the bus stop "Apparently child care wants to really see about me not running away after almost living two years in Forks, so by sending me to a camp they want to see if I'd take the ticket out of Forks."

"But that's so stupid and my weddings at the end of the month."

"I know, technically Billy could have just said that I wasn't running away, but he and Jacob have this thing about Jasper and I spending time together...Don't worry, it's only three weeks we'll be back in time for the wedding."

"We?"

"Yeah, Alice wanted Twilight to play to your wedding, conveniently it doesn't matter what camp I go to, so Hayden, Peter, and I sent in a demo tape and got accept to go to Soul."

"Soul?"

"It's an entertainment camp!" I explain, honesty part of my was excited, but I would be happy if this wasn't just a scam to keep Jasper and me apart. Of course, though I wasn't the only one on the phone, Hayden and Peter were on calls, all of us away from each other for privacy.

Only the three of us were going from Forks, it would be an adventure, but I wanted to spend my summer with Jasper.

"E, the others wanted to say hi." says Bella, I roll my eyes as a consecutive "HI/HEY!!!" is heard from the other side of the phone "Hey guys," I say.

"If you ever need anything, just email," reassures Esme.

"Forget that I want an email when the competition starts," affirms Emmett.

"I'll send you all an email, one each day," I promise.

"And for every day you're away from home, we will always miss you," says Carlisle. Home? With them...yeah, that was home. Just then, a bus pulls out the words Soul written on the side. Hayden waves me over, "Come on, E bus's here!"

I nod, standing and picking up my duffle bag, my phone being head by my shoulder between my ear "Hey guys bus is here, I can keep you guys on the phone if you want."

"No, you should go make some new friends don't worry about us," says Alice. I put my duffle bag underneath and take hold of my phone as I wait behind Peter and Hayden to get on the bus "Okay...That's fine, is Jasper there so I can say goodbye?"

"Not with us, but don't worry." says Rosalie with a cheeky tone in her voice, it was bummer I wouldn't get to talk to Jasper "No worries, I'll see you guys and three weeks but hope to read from you soon."

"We love you, Eve," says Carlisle and Esme.

"Love you guys, bye." I hang up and stuff my phone in my pocket. Hayden steps onto the bus, and I walk up behind him. Entering the bus was full of kids most likely from the city; it looked like they already knew each other or got to know each other.

As I walk down the aisle, I notice stares, it was probably either for my birthmark or my hair. But moving, I see one girl staring intently, shrugging it off. I move to the back of the bus with Peter and Hayden.

The two sit next to each other in one row while I sat on the other side alone. Of course, I didn't mind, but when the bus began to roll away, I couldn't help but have this welling in my gut throat.

Just then, my phone rings in my pocket, I take it out answering "Hello?"

"Turn to your right." I hear Jasper's voice state, I turn and look out the window to see Jasper smiling and waving in the tree line. I wave back smiling, "You came."
