Final exam will be next week. Instead of studying on the library like Michelle and I always do, we ended up in the garden. Two red checkered cloth was on the grass. In the middle was our food. Michelle, Danny, Zaffron and I have our own corner and space to review for ourselves. In front of me was Danny, Michelle on left, while Zaffron was on my right.

Books, calculators, notes, laptop, highlighters, phones and other school stuff were around us. Snacks were also in the middle. Just waiting for someone whenever somebody wanted something to eat. At napapansin kong ako ang madalas kumuha ng chips.

We were reviewing for our free time when I felt my back ached. I instantly put down my colorful notes because of highlighters. I am memorizing terms that might be included on my exam since one of our subject give a lot of business terms.

Ito ang mahirap sa ABM. Aside from terms, kailangan kabisado rin kung ano ang tamang steps when computing kasi kahit may calculator na, nagkakamali oa rin.

I stretch out my arms up before holding my back.

"Backache?" Zaffron asked. I looked up at him. He was looking at me and yet, his book was still on the air with his hand holding it.

"Nangangawit e," I answered, still stretching my back.

Ibinaba niya ang libro sa gilid at umusog sa isang banda palapit kay Danny. Nakita kong napahinto rin silang dalawa ni Michelle sa ginagawa ni Zaffron.

"Higa ka muna," he said, motioning the space he cleared for me. I blinked at him. He then patted his lap like he wanted me to lay on his leg to serve it as my pillow.

I blinked at him again. "Paano ka magrereview?"

"I'm taking a break too."

"Yeah me three," Michelle interrupted, making us turned to her.

Umayos siya ng upo matapos maayos ang libro sa gilid at biglang lumapit sa akin.

"Ayos ka ng higa, dali."

It took me moments before I get it that she wanted me to lay on Zaffron. I looked at him hesitantly but he nodded in assurance that it was fine for him.

Humiga na lang rin ako dahil masakit na ang aking likod. Nang makaayos na ay nahiga naman si Michelle sa hita ko.

"Hon, ikaw rin, tara na rito," she said patting her legs for Danny to lie down. Mabuti na lang at nakapantalon kaming lahat kaya ayos lang 'yung posisyon namin.

I saw Danny resting on her lap.

"C'mon, Zaff. Take a break too!"

Napakunot ang noo ko pero naintindihan rin agad na gusto niya ring pahigain si Zaffron.

"That is awkward."

That earned a laughed from Michelle and I while Danny agreed on him.

"Hey! You two are friends, it's fine!"

Nagkatinginan ang dalawang lalaki bago sabay na nagkibit-balikat. Maingat na inangat muna ni Zaffron ang ulo ko para umayos siya ng puwesto bago nahiga.

I smiled as I drown my thoughts by the blue sky. Fluffy white clouds were moving slowly as the air blew calmly. The four of us was forming a diamond shape on the picnic cloth, under the sky. All looking up at the same sky, resting ourselves for a while.

"We should have more time like this," Michelle said. "More bonding."

"Term break is coming. How about we took a vacation?" I heard Danny suggested, while I'm still watching the sky. I held my hands up, acting like I can reach and hold the clouds on my fingers while listening to my friends.
