Kismet 15 🌱

I had my sembreak in Japan. With my family of course.

Naglibot lang kami roon at mabuti na lang ay natapos nila mama lahat ang dapat gawin bago kami umalis kaya tuwang-tuwa ako dahil na-solo ko sila. I missed them so much I tried to spend every minute I had with then.

I looked at the ceiling waiting for Zaffron's reply. I just texted him that I'm home already. I can't wait to give him the things I bought for him... And for Michelle and Danny.

Minutes had passed and I still don't get any updates from him so I decided to rest my eyes first. Until I lost my track on time and drifted to sleep.

The next morning came and I'm like a toy fully charged as I hopped while making my way out of my room. Nakita ko agad si Nana na naghahanda ng breakfast kaya naupo na ako sa upuan sa harap ng dining table.

"Mukhang excited pumasok ang apo ko ha?" binigyan ko lang siya ng matamis na ngiti bago bumalik sa pagkain.

"Bye, Nana!" I said cheerfully after giving her a peck on her cheek.

"Mag-ingat ka ha! At 'wag ka ngang lumundag-lundag. Nakong bata ka!" parang nakukunsuming sabi ni Nana.

I giggled at her as I hopped excitedly to the door.

Pagkabukas ko pa lang ay bumungad na agad si Zaffron sa akin. I gave him a bright smile.

"Good morning!"

"Morning." He looked at me like something's new to me. "Excited for the sem?"

"Yup. though it means new projects and exams." Just the thought made me grimaced and shortened my smile.

"How about me?"

I frowned when Zaffron halted my thoughts with future school works. "Ha?"

"Aren't you excited to see me?"

Agad na napaawang ang mga labi ko bago nag-iwas ng tingin sa kaniya. Naramdan ko siyang lumapit sa akin saka hinawi ang buhok ko na medyo basa pa na tumatakip sa mukha ko.

"I missed you."

Napakagat ako sa labi at hindi makatingin sa kaniya. "Hindi mo 'ko na-miss?"

I pouted. Paminsan,  nagugulat na lang talaga ako kay Zaffron.

"Hindi ka nga nag-reply sa akin kagabi."

He patted my head then chuckled. "Sure, I'll reply next time."

Nagulat ako nang bigla niyang abutin ang dalawang kamay ko at inilagay papunta sa likod niya kaya pumalibot ang mga braso ko sa katawan niya. Napaabante tuloy ako at nagtama ang aming mga katawan habang nasa loob siya ng mga braso ko. "Now, tell me you missed me."

Naramdamam kong nag-init ang aking mga pisngi, kaya hindi ako makatingin nang maayos sa kaniya. He clasped my hands behind him before cupping my face to looked up at him. "Date later?"

I nodded kahit nahihiya. Even though I wanted to tell him that I missed him, I felt embarrassed.

"S-sa bahay n'yo na lang tayo."

"Okay. But you need to eat vegetable in the house. It's a house rule."

Suminangot ako agad sa bungad niya. Kakakita nga lang namin e.

"'wag na lang kaya tayo mag-date mamaya."

He looked at me with amused eyes. His thumb caressed my face. Then slowly, a curve form on his lips.

"I'll think about that. Now, let's go to school."

The first day of the second semester passed like how our normal days in school. Nagkaroon lang ng mga bagong subject at schedule pero ganoon rin naman. I talked to my friends and they can get their pasalubongs tomorrow since hindi pa ako nag-aayos ng gamit simula ng makabalik ako.
