Hey.  Like what I said, I'm rushing this so I can enter wattys. Unfortunately, Kismet 27 was deleted and I couldn't find a copy😢 I'll write this again but the whole chapter is about truth or dare.

EDITED: HI. Here's a not very nice version of this chapter.

CHAPTER 27

"How?"

"Bato, bato pick?"

He shrugged but fisted his hand on the air. "Game."

I lifted my hand and fisted it near his.

"Bato, bato pick!" we both chanted.

I smiled when he used rock while I was opening my hand indicating it as a paper.

"Truth or dare?"

"Dare."

I smirked when I think of a dare. "Let me dye your hair pink when we get back."

His eye bore on me as if asking if I'm for real.

"Truth," he said, making me pout.

"Ang daya! Dare pinili mo!"

"But dare should only be done now and here," he said in a matter of fact tone.

"Fine!" parang nagmamaktol na sabi ko. I saw him looked at me with amused.

"Roll your eyes."

He frowned. "Like what other girls did?"

I nodded. "Gusto ko makita kapag ikaw 'yung gagawa," I said, trying not to laugh.

Mas kumunot ang noo niya. "How do you do that?"

"You just rolled your eyes clockwise."

He blinked at me. "Okay, I'll try."

And he did. "Mas magaling ka pa umirap sa 'kin!" I teased making him pursed his lip. I laughed to that and we continued our game.

The first dares and truths wasn't too serious. It's either nonsense dares or random truths that don't have depts. And maybe, it happened because we're both trying to limit ourselves to know more. I felf like there's this topic that we unconsciously agreed to not talk about. But things leads to another. The question just pop of my mind.

"Bakit hindi ka nakagraduate? Anong year mo na?"

I saw him stilled for a moment. Parang hindi inaasahang magtatanong ako ng ganoon. He stared at me with silence before he looked outside the tent where the rain was still pouring.

"I let Zion to graduate first, third year." he said shortly and lifted his fist on the air for another pick. His eyes still avoiding mine like he was ashamed of something, he was looking down.

"Bato, bato pick!"

I won again.

"Truth."

"'Yung totoo, nakailang girlfriend ka na? Hindi sa judger ako ha..." I told him so he won't get the wrong idea. I mean, kung hindi ko siya kilala, iisipin kong isa siya sa mga supladong chickboy.

"Isa..." he answered cautiously while looking at me. "...'ata."

There was something on the way he looked at me, but I chose not to name or even understand it.
