"What the hell is wrong with you?! I thought we were in this together! But you go behind my back and erase my memories of Avery! Not cool Palmer! Not cool!" Enzo yells at me but I don't have time to deal with his theatrics. I couldn't find Kai so I needed his help.

"Ya ya, yell at me later, where's Kai?" I ask.

"Probably in Savannah's room," he says and I smack myself for not remembering he has a girlfriend. Well girlfriend or no girlfriend, he cares about Avery, I need his help. "If everything you told me was true, you're going to need my help too, I'm coming with you," Enzo says, I just sigh and hurry to Savannah's room. I slowly push open the door and see Kai with his arm around her and she is lying on his chest. Please be clothed.

"Kai," I whisper but he doesn't move."Kai," I whisper again, this time poking his arm, still nothing.

"KAI!" Enzo screams which makes the couple wake up screaming.

"What the hell Enzo!" Kai complains.

"Family emergency," he says in such a way that hints to Savannah that this doesn't concern her.

"Enzo it's 2 am, can't it wait," Kai says in his sleepy voice.

"I said emergency didn't I? I wouldn't be here if it wasn't urgent," Enzo explains, then just as Kai is about to complain again he notices me standing there and sits up.

"Palmer? I haven't seen you in months," he says looking at me intently.

"Yeah well, as Enzo said, it is an emergency," I say.

"Okay, I'll meet you down stairs," he says, he is clearly not clothed so Enzo and I walk downstairs and wait for him.

"FYI, I didn't erase your memories of Avery, I simply blocked them. A part of me knew I'd need you guys to remember someday," I say using the silence between Enzo and I to clear things up.

"Remember what?" Kai says walking into the room.

"Sit down and I'll show you," I say gesturing for him to sit on the couch in front of me. He hesitantly does it and I place my hands on his head and lift the block on his Avery memories, all of them. Which means he will be sad, angry, annoyed etc. when I let go.

"Kai?" Enzo asks when he doesn't say anything when I finish.

"I'm mad that my memories got erased, but I remember that I asked for this," he depressingly says and I walk to Enzo so that I can explain while standing in front of him. "What is wrong with me? Avery must have been so hurt," he says. "Where is she? I have to see her," his depressing demeanor goes away and he stands up passionately, ready to find her.

"That's why I'm here Kai, she's in trouble," I say and he takes a big step towards me.

"What happened?" he worriedly asks placing both hands on my shoulders.

"You're going to want to sit down for this one," I say. When he sits down, I look at him, and instead of explaining with words, I transfer my memories into his head so he can see it all for himself.

"Wait you think I can get her out of the trance she's in?" Kai asks after seeing everything.

"Yes, I do. One of the seven pillars is emotion, I believe that dream told me that's how they're being controlled. Someone is making them feel a strong love for George and his family, the only thing that can beat something like that is a stronger emotion," he gets really uncomfortable when I mention that last part so I continue,"I do not care if you think you don't love that girl, I know for a fact she still loves you, which means you are our only hope."

"What about the others?" Enzo asks.

"Avery will know what to do about them, but we have to do this before dawn. Avery said that George wants to introduce us to his family in the morning, my guess is that they're going to do whatever they did to them, to us. If that happens, there will be no one left to save us."
