Vada
"That's okay we don't need them," Tasia says to Rik who just informed her that everyone is missing.
"We don't?" he asks.
"No my sweet dear, we don't. As long as we have this beautiful girl, that is all that matters," she says looking directly at me.
"Me?"
"Yes you, you're the only person we need for the finale. Your powers are indispensable," she says circling my body and moving a piece of hair behind my ear with her sharp nails.
"Then I will be there my liege," I say to assure her I'm still in Clovers trance.
"Good. Now find me Ambrose, Yvonne and Heska, we've been apart for too long now, I'd like them to be here with me until the finale," she says to Tanith and Rik. I follow them but she stops me, "Not you my dear, you're much too valuable to spend so much as a second away from my side," she says so close to me that I can feel her breath moving the little hairs on my neck. I nod and move back to the place I was standing and watch the elevator door close with Tanith and Rik inside. Yes elevator doors, remember that little cottage? Well, it is basically just the lobby, there was a hidden elevator that brings us down into the Wilder family headquarters.
I'm still trying to figure out what their plan is, as you heard, Tasia only talks about the 'finale', she never mentions the plan or why they're doing any of this. I have to figure it out, but very secretly, if I get caught, I will be forced into being a mindless zombie under their control again. My biggest concern is why they need my powers, and why in the finale, who is getting hurt?
Whatever it is, we have to stop them, and the only person who can stop Tasia is Tanith, and that's because their powers are similar from what I've seen, personally I believe Tanith is stronger and that's why I have to bring her back. Watching Tasia work by a table with books and bottles of god knows what, is unsettling, I have a really bad feeling about whatever she is up to.

"We couldn't figure out a way to capture them or hold them but-" Cassian starts but then get interrupted by Palmer.
"We found a way to put them into a coma for a few years," she says earning a disapproving look from Cassian.
"You said you'd let me tell them," he whines.
"Well I changed my mind," she says and then turns back to us. "We will have to inject them yearly with the serum to make sure they never wake up," she explains.
"What is it?" Enzo asks.
"Think of it as a medically induced coma on steroids," Cassian answers even though Enzo was asking Palmer. But whatever.
"And you're sure this will work?" Imelda says.
"Well no, we can't be sure, we have none of their DNA to test it on or anything," Palmer says.
"But we know that they are part human, and the things we mixed together are intense, if we had to inject an average human it would kill them instantly," Cassian explains.
"Great, now that we have that sorted out, we can go help Avery save your other two friends," Enzo says and I agree.
"No," Cassian says flatly like his word is the only word that matters.
"Yes," Enzo says.
"No. Cassian is right. I don't know about Avery but Vada is more than capable of dealing with things on her side. We're going to do exactly as she says, stay hidden, train and wait for her signal," Imelda strictly says.
"How will we know it's her signal?" Palmer asks.
"Trust me, you'll know," Cassian says with a cocky smirk on his face. I don't know what it is about him but I just don't like him.
"While we wait, we're going to train, you guys need it more than anyone," Imelda says walking past Enzo and I, patting my shoulder.
"We're not that bad," Enzo whispers to me.
"Yes you are!" Imelda shouts from the other side of the gym. How did she hear that?

"As Vada always taught us, 'To fight together you must trust each other'. This does not mean telling each other secrets and expecting the person not to snitch, this means that when you're teammates back is facing someone holding a gun and they shoot, you have to catch that bullet. That is the trust I'm talking about. I know if you fight alongside Tanith and Rik, people you don't know, you don't know them so it will be as if you're fighting alongside strangers, but you must understand that they are on your team. Fight with them like you've known them your whole lives, they will do the same because that is how Vada taught us.
The first step to trusting each other is understanding each other. So I'm going to go around the room and tap you, when you're tapped, you say what exactly it is you can do. I will start. Rik and I have twin powers, meaning we have the exact same abilities. We both have enhanced senses, this doesn't only include the 5 most common ones, this includes balance, reflexes and so on," Imelda says. We're all blindfolded and sitting in a circle but our backs are facing the circle and our fronts are facing the rest of the gym. The only reason we agreed to this is because she said this is how Avery first taught them how to fight together.
After everyone has explained what they can do, Imelda splits us into teams, her, Palmer and I against Cassian and Enzo, we're still blindfolded but we have to make sure Cassian and Enzo don't hurt anyone on our team.
This is going to be a long night.
