"RUN!"

"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR????"

"GO!"

My ears are ringing, I can barely hear a word they are saying. 

"GET UP!!!!"

I feel someone dragging me by my leg, soon I feel my flesh being burnt off my body, it must be the landmine again. I've never been so tired of seeing fire. 

"HEY UGLY! OVER HERE!"

That sounds like Rik's voice. 

"Rik...'

EARLIER THAT DAY

"Do you have everything you need?" I ask Cassian.

"Yes, the others are already in the realm, go, I will meet you guys there when she comes," I say. 

"Be careful," he warns. 

"Go," I order not enjoying him lingering around like this. 

I told everyone to go to the realm so that we can catch her off guard when she gets there. As you heard, I'm staying behind to get her there, if push comes to shove, I will drag her ass there if I have to, but I'm pretty sure she'll go voluntarily when she hears what I have to say. No one knows exactly when she is coming but I have a feeling it's soon, call it a hunch, but the air feels toxic today.

I've waited in the house the entire day, no Cynthia. 

"Where is it?" I hear Tasia's voice behind me, I'd be lying if I said I'm not a little excited. 

"Just when I thought I got stood up," I playfully respond. 

"You're alone, I could kill you with the snap of my fingers," she threatens but I just can't take her seriously. 

"Well if you kill me, you'll never find what you're looking for," that's such a lie, Cassian is the only person who knows where it is, I couldn't tell her even if I wanted to. 

"You don't need your legs or arms to tell me where it is," she says trying to be intimidating. 

"I'll give you a hint, it's abandoned," I whisper then wink hinting to the abandoned realm. 

"Enough with these games," she says walking toward me. "I have the spirit ability, if you tell me where it is, I will help you bring your mom back to life." That is a game changer, I mentally award Cassian with $1M for not telling me where it is because God knows I would have given it up for that. However, I must still play along. 

I gulp for dramatics and then sigh, "It's in a realm called Xendorite."

"Xendorite???" Idris says stomping toward me. "Are you out of your mind??? Such a fragile serum being held in such a destructive realm," he scolds. 

"Exactly why we put it there," I say. 

"Let's go," Tasia says pushing me towards Idis' portal as if I can't teleport. 

We step into the dark, dusty realm and no one from my team is in site, just as planned.

"Where is it?" Tasia asks impatiently. 

"It's-" and then I teleport away to the agreed meeting point. "She's here," I say to the team. "Cassian and Rik you're up," it's their job to kill Idris, quick and easy, but painful for Idris, Cassian will squash him and Rik will slice his head off. 

While they do that, I teleport to Clover and blind her.

"Tasia," she says as if they're not all one person. "I can't see."

"Vada," Tasia says angrily, she figured that out fast, I'm impressed. 

"V we have a problem," Mel says through the comms. 

"What?" I ask. 

"Look behind you," she says and I turn around. 

"Where did they come from?" I ask looking at the hell hounds walking through the fire fields without burning. 

"Did I forget to mention that my spirit animal is a hell hound and they love me," Tasia says now standing behind me. "And they hate people who put me in danger."

There's at least fifty of them, that is a lot of hell hounds, and they are all running towards me, the closer they get, the bigger they become. These things are huge, they are almost as tall as me and they're on four legs. When one leaps to bite me I teleport back to the team. 

"What now?" Palmer asks.

"We fight," I say while taking out the guns Cassian made for us. They are lethal. I teleport to Cassian and Rik, where I see Rik holding Idris' head in his hands, I nod and throw them each a gun. 

"What are these-" Rik starts but when he sees me shoot a hell hound in the head, it seems to have answered  his question. 

"There's about fifty of them, let's go," I say. 

When we get to field of fire dogs, I see Tasia holding Clover, I'm guessing to try and fix her,  and George fighting Mel, she's kicking his ass. 

"Everyone clear out of the field, I have an idea," Enzo says through comms and we all teleport out. I can't see him though, oh never mind, he is whistling, which gets all their attention. These dogs start hurling towards him and he draws his hands back and makes one giant clap like the first time we found out about his powers, but this time, it's bigger than ever, all the hounds cry out in pain as they shock to death. 

"NOOOOOOO!" we hear Tasia cry out as if she can feel their pain, she falls to the ground for a few seconds, but then we hear cracking and chanting. She is looking up and chanting, Clover falls to the ground, so does Ambrose, then dad, then Jason then Chloe, in seconds there's huge, black wings emerging from her back. 

Tasia shoots up into the air and her eyes turn black, the ground starts shaking, and then splits into two, soon demons start crawling out of crack in the ground.

Before we know it all the landmines are being set off, causing a huge explosion that knocks us all down. There's smoke everywhere, my lungs feel violated, I hear people screaming. 

"RUN!"

"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR????"

"GO!"
