Palmer

"I am telling you that she is not okay, this isn't her," I say worried about Vada.

"So what if she's ripping a few heads off? Cynthia killed those people a long time ago," of course Imelda argues.

"But she is not herself," I continue.

"Of course she's not herself, her mother just died, I say let her take her anger out on Cynthia," Rik says agreeing with Imelda.

"What if Cynthia has a trick up her sleeve and it kills her?" Kai says siding with me.

"She can't die," Cassian adds.

"We also thought that Yvonne, Heska, Niko and Tasia couldn't die but as we thought, when you cut their heads off, they stay dead. What if Cynthia returns the favour?" Tanith says being the only one siding with Kai and I.

"Vada is more than capable of taking care of herself, let her go off, her killing spree is solving a lot of our problems," Rowan says and Skye agrees with him.

"Her rage could be the death of her," Kai says getting frustrated.

"And not only physically, emotionally too, how do you think she is going to feel about having murdered three people when she snaps out of her rage trance?" I ask.

"I know, you can just let the team leader make her own decisions and mistakes," Vada says after sneaking up on us causing us to whip around.

"Vay-" Tanith starts but gets cut off.

"I am fine you guys, I just want Cynthia dead for once and for all," she says calmly which throws us all off. "Mel, where is the serum? Rik told me you found it."

"I hid it in a safe place," Cassian answers.

"Good, I have a new mission for us," she sounds like Vada but there's something about her that just seems soulless.

"I thought our main focus was Cynthia," Imelda responds.

"It is, but first, we're bringing my mom back to life," her words single-handedly drop all of our jaws straight to the face of the earth.

"What?" Rik asks on behalf of all of us.

"We will use my powers to regenerate her body and Taniths powers to find her soul and attach it," she says hopefully as if she isn't talking about trying to resurrect someone.

"V that's insane," Imelda says, again, on behalf of all of us.

"Isn't everything?" she asks.

"Not like this," Enzo answers.

"You're talking about something unnatural a-"

"Every single person in this room is unnatural. I am not giving up on my mom, I have to at least try you guys," she says flatly, normal Vada would have laced sincerity in those words.

Slow clapping makes all of us jump and look where it's coming from, "So so sweet," Clover says mockingly.

"I see you stopped by to get your head ripped off too," Vada says snidely.

"As fun as that looks, I'm rather fond of this body and it's powers," she says locking eyes with Vada, I slam her against the wall before she has the chance to manipulate her emotions.

"Oh I wouldn't do that," Clover says clearly hiding something.

"And why not?" Vada asks walking towards her.

"It won't be fun anymore if I spoil the surprise," she responds smiling.

"If you don't tell me, I'll rip your head off," Vada says now holding her face tightly with one hand.

"I'd stop with the beheading thing if I were you," can she stop being so cryptic???

"I rather enjoy it, there's something satisfactory about getting your revenge by replacing bowling balls with the heads of your enemies," Vada responds and all of us gulp at her choice of words.

"At least we can agree on something, revenge is sweet," she says pulling herself off the wall and freeing herself from my hold, how is that possible?

"Cut the crap you cryptic bitch, just tell us whatever it is you clearly came here to say," Imelda says growing impatient.

"Tell us, or you will crawl back to the hole you came out of with no legs," Rik adds when Clover keeps quiet, this seems to have rattled her.

"Right after I claw your eyes out," Idris says out of nowhere while walking toward Clover.

"Two against ten, I like our chances," Rowan says stepping forward to stand next to Vada.

"As fun as that sounds, we didn't come here to fight," Ambrose aka George says also appearing out of nowhere.

"Then why the hell are you here?" Enzo barks.

"Well," Tasia starts now standing next to George, how are they doing that? "You stole something that belongs to me."

"I thought I shot you," Rik says looking at Tasia like she's a ghost.

"It takes a lot more than bullets to kill me," she says slowly walking toward him.

"Isn't it pathetic how your team is literally made up of you, do you make your puppets talk to each other?" Vada says stopping Tasia in her tracks.

"When you're alive for 200 years you realize that friends are irrelevant," she answers. "You understand right Vada, you saw how much better your life got when you left everyone you loved behind," she says trying to get a reaction out of her. "And they're not puppets, I've divided my consciousness into seven different people."

"Oh so fancy puppets," Kai mocks.

"And don't you mean four different people, not seven, or did you forget? I killed the others," Vada proudly says.

"You didn't kill anyone," Clover chimes in creating confusion.

"The heads rolling around my living room say otherwise," Vada says looking back at them on the floor.

"You killed their bodies, you can't kill me, my conscious mind lives on forever."

"Then what do you want with the serum?" I ask.

"Oh it's not for me," she says stirring our curiosity.

"Who is it for?" Tanith asks.

"Telling you would just suck all the fun out of it," she says smiling evilly. "Hand it over and we'll be out of your hair."

"The only way you're getting that serum is if you kill everyone in this room," Vada barks.

"I think it's time to see if there's still a part of Avery Shaw left in you shall we?" Idris says and then opens a portal and three people come out of it.

Oh no.

Mr Hilton, Chloe and Jason.
