One week until the end of summer. I must say, things have changed somehow. A change of heart, specifically. I decided to look on the positive side of life and I am slowly recovering from the pain of the past.
"Gabbi, let's eat." Tawag sa'kin ni EJ. I'm currently in their house because his parents inivited me and Abuela.
Elijah sat down beside me. I don't know but these past few days, he's very clingy.
"Summer's almost over, noh?" Tita Emily, EJ's mother, started a conversation.
"Oo nga po, eh." I answered with a hint of sadness in my voice. "I'll miss being here." I added.
"Ang place ba o 'yang katabi mo?" Pang-aasar ni Tita Emily at sabay silang tumawa ni Abuela.
Hindi nalang ako kumibo at patuloy na kumakain. I could see EJ's smirk in my peripheral vision. I looked at him and stepped on his foot under the table at tumawa naman siya ng bahagya.
After dinner, the elders were chilling and talking in the living room. EJ and I decided to watch a comedy film in their entertainment room.

Well, I'm not against my sisters having a boyfriend. It's their life and all I can do is be supportive. I'm just worried that they'll get hurt as much as I did.
I turned my phone off at eksaktong naset-up na ni EJ ang movie. Nanood kami ng 'Murder Mystery', a comedy film starring Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler, my favorite actor and actress.
Four days passed, Elijah and I have been going places. It was so much fun. I'm having second thoughts of going home.
Abuela's having a party today and my sisters are coming over at sabay na kaming uuwi sa Monday.
